Honestly, I'm sorry to this business in advance for giving such a low review, but, given the way it's advertised vs. reality, I owe it to other parents; we all know what it's like.My key points from visiting:1. The bamboo fortress pictured is overgrown, derelict, and children are not allowed to climb on it. I told my kids on the way that there'd be a bamboo fort, and straightaway they were met with disappointment.2. If you're actually looking for bamboo as well, as I was -- the specimens are small, overpriced and sub-par, I say this is as an adept horticulturalist.3. The cafe supplies very little in the way of child-friendly food/snacks, or really human-friendly food/snacks, so don't drive out there thinking you'll get food for your children when you're there. They do have an amazing supply of dog food.4. I cannot overstate the presence of sand flies. I swatted 5 away from my children's faces and god knows how many bit my own legs within a few minutes of walking into the nursery, and this was in a cooler month. This seems to be owing to large stagnant bodies of water in the form of once-magnificent water features.5. The entire area in which children may roam is covered in sharp, harsh gravel. My one year old tripped over herself twice and suffered injuries to her face which I accept blame for entirely, had I been helicopter-parenting she may have avoided them, but I won't put myself in a situation again where this level of vigilance is required to keep her safe.6. The prevalance of farm animals to be interacted with is minor, in fact the nearest available pig pen is surrounded by overgrown weeds and an electric fence. My eldest daughter took this well but this created disappointment #2.I was told we could stop by another pen as we were driving out, and there'd be more animals to stop and see, but by this time my youngest was so upset by the gravel to the face, that even my eldest child simply said to me in the car ''let's just go home, we need to go home''; she's four.Overall, this feels like a business that ''once was great'', based on the pictures and reviews I can see online, but if you want to take your kids somewhere on the sunshine coast -- take any other available option. Don't do this to yourself and your kids.Update: In response to your address, we don't advertise a bamboo fortress"; perhaps you should take down the very first picture in your Google business profile. It's very misleading. False advertising one might say."
