Great location being directly across from Alexandra Headlands surf club. Amenities ideal for a young family with 2 pools and spa, putt putt course and Tennis court. Skate Park directly across the road and great beach short walk away. Rooms are great for 4 people and most have views to the beach. Friendly staff makes your stay enjoyable

Beautiful clean modern well equipped unit. Friendly staff on the front desk great facilities well maintained and always clean and fresh despite the fact that it was peak season and they were flat out. Family oriented complex something for everyone.

Great location, plenty of facilities for a family.Confusing booking system with apartments rated differently according to refurb, decor and floor level. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is our 4th visit over recenter years and we'll be back.

Great location . A few glitches for me .. linen and towels only changed after 10 days? Thats a challenge in hot weather. There's only one sachet of laundry detergent for a 2 bedroom unit for 14 days!No beach or pool towels without a $5 charge.Minimalist compared to many other similarly priced venues.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mandolin resort. Our room was a ground floor courtyard and was just perfect. Very well presented, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect, highly recommend the Surf club across the road. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and helpful. Our stay was perfect. A big thank you to the Mandolin team.

There are a few 5 star reviews for Mandolin Resort. I think you need some luck to stay in the room which they posted on the internet. Apparently I was not lucky enough. It is rated as a 3 star hotel, but 0 star to me. The room was old, full of dust, curtains, furniture, spider nets on the wall, air condition not working. The bed sheets were not clean at all and their policy states that they only change sheets and towers if you stay more than 10 days. Never lived in a hotel worse than Mandolin Resort in Australia. It ruined our holiday. Very disappointed and not cheap...Good luck!

Great unit. 2 pools and a spa. Tennis court. Putt Putt golf course. Games room. Across the street from the beach where the flags are, Skate park, cycling track/footpath that goes for miles. Surf club - food and beverages. Burger joint downstairs. Comfy chairs on balcony - a rarity. Perfect view. Perfect for what we want.

Very terrifying, today I witnessed the onwer/worker assaulting three young men who were riding their bikes out front. As the boys were leaving, the owner pushed, shoved and even hit them. While this altercation occurred he was throwing punches infront of a mother and young child walking past. Be very cautious if you have children, as the owner is a very aggressive man.

Great location, service and facilities. Including multiple pools, saunas, games rooms, mini golf and tennis court.Room layouts are spacious but some have better interior decorations than others. Still a great value get away family destination.
