My son and I joined Goshukan Karate just over a month ago and we are about to attend our first grading together. I am 45 yo and have realised I should have started karate years ago. Both my son and I love training with Nick Sensei and all the friendly students who attend training with us. My son is 10yo and I’ve never seen him so focused and attentive while training at Goshukan Karate, he absolutely loves it and looks forward to each training day.If you’re looking for a traditional, well refined martials arts school. This is the place for you!

My daughter and I are training there on Saturday. Fantastic class run by Sensei Nick in a brand new facility. We are driving almost 1.5hr (45 min there and back) just to train there... and we love it.

I am an older student that has come back recently to train, I have been struck by the welcoming attitude, the kindness and family atmosphere of the school.Goshukan captures the essence of traditional Goju karate, there is a strong emphasis on movement exercise(kata) and free fighting(kumite). Sensei Nick is an experienced, capable and competent instructor with a good sense of humour.You will not regret coming to this Karate school. Come and give it a try.

I am really enjoying Karate at Goshukan Karate Academy at Pimpama as well as Clear Island Waters. It’s keeping me fit and healthy and Sensei Nick is a great teacher and coach.
