City Motor Group Adelaide - Main Service Department (Formally City Holden)

I have taken my father-in-law’s Holden Equinox and my father’s Kia Cerato to CMG. We have also purchased tyres for our two vehicles and my father’s car.These guys are great. The service advisors are friendly and accomodating. Service charges are quite reasonable and services have been completed on time.Service manager is great. Helpful and informative.The valet transport to the city is a convenient service for customers.

Had slight vibration intermittently in my chev I thought it might be the run flat tyres Luke from service suggested we check transmission turned out to be right after a flush and different oil replacement transmission is now perfect great service thanks Luke and city motors

STAY AWAY !! Recently purchased a vehicle from city motor group Adelaide (CMG Adelaide). This by far has been the worst experience I have ever had at buying a vehicle. The dealer (Louis) was extremely unprofessional and rude. This was one of the worst experiences for me and I was left disappointed after not only paying a premium for a car, I thought I was buying off a reputable dealer, but the whole ordeal from start to finish was upsetting. Lack of communication, customer service and handling of the purchase was below par. I am a avid holden enthusiastic and have purchased many HSV vehicles and regret having bought this vehicle off this dealer. Unfortunately it was too late for me to pull out after I paid for the car in full straight away and I live interstate. I received the car dirty, bad ordour in the cabin, an empty tank of petrol and only 1 key (no spare) and no correspondence from the dealer to see if I was even satisfied with my experience or that the vehicle had even arrived. It’s sad to feel this way after spending so much money, this was meant to be an enjoyable experience and instead It has been disheartening. I would not recommend purchasing off this dealer and dealership.

As a long standing customer of City Holden (Purchased 3 Brand New HSV and 8+ Commodore's, Calais and Commercial vehicle's) over the past 12 years I'm extremely disappointed with CMG current level of service (well there isn't any) from reception to the service department, I had to ring 4 times each time was either cut of or rang out to cancel my service due to having Covid, once I was well again similar amount of calls with same issue to re book the car, my City Holden Contract says free loan car, advised no longer recognised, had my car serviced at double the cost it used to be at City Holden, not even a car wash as was standard at City Holden as well. Service manager rang me but I couldn't answer so rang back, another 2 phone calls to get to the service department. I live North of Adelaide and pass 20 similar business to take my 2 cars to CMG to be serviced, I wont bother doing that anymore.

I purchased a 2012 SS Commodore unseen because it's a pretty safe bet when it comes to dealership.Well after having it shipped to QLD the rear bumper was hanging off.What's disturbing is when they took photographs prior to the car carrier with it backed to the wall you could see the bumper was fckd. Not to mention they failed to disclose that it was an ex police car

Staff is rude and unprofessional. Placed an offer for one of the cars in their inventory, got a call 5 minutes later with one of the salesmen talking in a really rude manner about the offer I provided and thanked me for wasting his time" even though he decided to pick up the phone and talk to me. Take with that what you will

Fast and efficient service, however when I picked up my vehicle, found the dash cam had been unplugged. I cannot see any technical reason why this had to be unplugged considering it is a hardwired, hard Mount unit. Very disappointed. What were they doing to my car that they didn't want me to see?

Completely unimpressed with service from whom we thought were reputable Holden dealers. On initial entry of yard to look at the vehicle, we were greeted, but then left for 30 minutes unattended after we asked for service details. Full service history on all vehicles " actually means 2 whole services were missed completely in the book - sales person advised that the car had extra servicing done

Good vehicles at a good price. Putchased my second vehicle and have been in contact with Jason. Staff is friendly and Jason has been very cooperative and offered us a very good service. Highly recommended.

One star is too much! I have never been spoken to the way I was spoke to by Jason this was the first time I had dealt with him and never again! For a salesperson to raise their voice and shout at a client is appalling when I was only asking for information as the vehicle we ordered was missing some parts and I was trying to ascertain how we can navigate this. Having a sales background myself I would never speak to any person the way I was spoken to. Especially a man shouting down the phone to a woman who was generally just asking some honest questions. He had already sold my pre-ordered car to someone else. Oh and offered me someone else’s car that was coming in next month (feel sorry for whoever that is) We will go elsewhere. In shock and disgusted!!!
