Plucka's Art Studio

Pluckas Art Studio has such a warm and friendly atmosphere! The owner Shane (Plucka) is a delight to be instructed by and to converse with. Great place for beginners and newbies like me who haven't touched a canvas since 9th grade Art Class. I'm so eager to take more of his classes!

Fantastic team event night with Shane. Everyone enjoyed it . Shane is a great instructor and heaps of fun. Our pictures looked far better than I would have thought possible.

We have now been to Pluckas 3 times. And each time has been a different experience. But never once has it disappointed. My 8 yr old had the most amazing time and came out with the most amazing painting and so much more confidence. My husband and I did a couples paint class and had such a wonderful time that we now want to do this regularly for a date night. Shane is a great teacher and very encouraging. We will definitely be back for more painting classes in the future!Update: my daughter had her 9th birthday at Plucka's and had such a wonderful time! And now her friends have also chosen the venue for their birthdays.

I had booked in for the Ziggy Stardust workshop. I drove nearly 50 minutes in the pouring rain to get there only to find the place in darkness. The workshop was due to start at 7 so I waited in case people were late. At 7.10 I called the studio only to be told that the class was cancelled. Apparently the other people in the class had called 30 minutes prior to my call and cancelled due to COVID, which means they actually cancelled only 20 minutes before the class was due to start. You can't tell me that every participant in the class only knew about COVID 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the workshop. Really disappointed by the lack of communication, even if they did only cancel 30 minutes prior to the beginning, I still didnt get a phone call. So disappointing. My advice, if you book in for a class give them a call before you leave home to make sure its still on.

I cant recommend Shane highly enough. We had my hens day here with 28 people. It was such an awesome night. Everyone had a ball. Shane was really easy to deal with and the whole thing ran so smoothly. A lot of the girls were really impressed with how their pictures turned out too, which was an added bonus!
