Narrandera Club Motor Inn

A RUDE manager who made snide jokes when we were there skiting how full his motel was and how he owned another one which was even better. He wouldn't admit that the light didn't work and that the TV remote battery was run-down until we showed him and then he was offhand and cold. We used this motel often and it was run by a lovely couple but now have gone off it. The Motel is quite dirty outside and it is clear it is the one he 'runs' not the one he owns, although I wouldn't go to any place he was in. My advice is to AVOID this place as the last thing you want to encounter after a long drive is a nasty piece of work behind the counter and a Motel which has gone downhill.

Avoid this place. Just called up to make payment for a booking and was diverted to the general manager's mobile as there was a power outage in the town or something. He was incredibly rude and abrupt from the get go, almost like his derailed day was my fault? Usually the small town hotel / motel staff I deal with are extremely welcoming and accommodating, but this guy thinks he's above basic manners. Hospitality is not your calling, my friend.I've promptly emailed to cancel the reservation and book somewhere else with far better customer service.**Update**Charlie Carter (General Manager in question) called up my place of work about an hour after I wrote the initial review. I work the front desk so I answered. He just wanted to get the last word in and signed off with would hate to be your hubby". This is the kind of service you can expect from this delightful man."

Very comfortable and spacious rooms, older, but well appointed with all the usual additions, microwave etc. I had hoped it would be quiet in the night as it's off the main highway, could hear the wheat trucks rattling by but we we are in a room at the front. A back room would have been better. Nerandah is a lovely oasis in the farming belt an oasis at the moment. Heritage Buildings are gorgeous. We had the most delicious Chinese meal out the motel turn right than left The neat in our dish so tender and full of flavour only needed a main and rice. Sechuan Combination.

Amazingly quiet even though pretty full.Nice ac which didnt fail even with temps in the mid 40ies.Interesting foyer! Appreciated the hoses for washing the car and especially the complimentary water supplied for each day; very thoughtful and generous.

Perfect location. Across from ex-servicemens club, 20m walke to bakery. Comfy beds (had a great sleep). Quiet

Stayed here for 2 nights. Pros = Great central location walking distance to food and services. Our room had a 2 seater couch which was good. Cons = No TV on first night. Lady at desk apologised for this. No allocated parking. Had to park a considerable distance from our room and haul luggage upstairs. Bathroom was tired and in need of an upgrade. All fittings were old and worn out. All taps leaked. Main Drain was 90% blocked and stank. Pop up basin plug wouldn't pop up and took us 10 minutes to release. Shower cubicle dirty with years of build up. Other guests chatting and smoking directly out the front of our room. We realise this is not managments fault but it was annoying none the less. If all you want is a bed for the night this place will do but I have stayed at better ones. Naranderra is a nice place and worth more than 1 night if you have the time.

Great Place! New managers. Right over the road from the ex services club. Nice chicken Parmigiana few drinks. The room was nice and warm. Bed and shower were good. Definitely recommend the place

The man that runs this place is fabulous! So friendly and helpful. The room was great, clean and tidy and comfortable beds. Just across the road is an RSL to have a meal at. Perfect location and highly recommended!
