The Gardens Apartment Hobart

Great spot to relax and enjoy Hobart. We stayed 6 nights while orienteering locally and did a quick day trip to Bruny Island.

We had a lovely 5 days at Tom and Pam's Gardens apartment. Everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean. Warm and cozy with the gas heating. Exceptional attention to detail with the inclusion of everything you could need for a comfortable stay with the ability to cook for yourself. Very comfortable bed and chairs. The Gardens are lovely and Tom and Pam the perfect hosts. The location with bus stop so close made exploring Hobart easy. We can not speak highly enough of Garden Apartments. Tom and Pam are the most gracious hosts. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. This was our first stay and defiantly wont be our last.If you have ever been online and found the perfect place only to arrive and be disappointed. I can assure you this WILL NOT HAPPEN at Garden Apartments. The apartment is exactly as the picture only better. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout. All the appliances are top notch, right done to the hairdryer.We cooked ourselves a meal in the kitchen which was great. We also eat out in Hobart. We didn't bother with a car as Tom advises on his web site there is a regular bus service. The bus stop is just a few minutes from the apartment and comes regularly.We cant recommend Garden Apartments enough.Thanks Tom and Pam for a wonderful stay, till next time.

My partner and I stayed 5 nights at 'The Gardens Apartment Hobart' during the start of November 2022. We had a lovely and very comfortable stay. The bed was big and very comfortable. There was good heating in the lounge which warmed the upstairs room well. Everything we needed was provided. Coming back from a day's outing, we were able to have a strong shower, make tea and sit in the super comfortable lounge chairs to watch TV and You Tube channels on the large TV. The apartment is cozy and very clean and its location makes it very convenient to drive to Hobart city, Salamanca and Battery Point. A bonus to me was having a carport right next to the apartment to protect the classic car I was driving from the weather.Tom, the host, was always helpful and gracious. Thank you, Tom.I highly recommend 'The Gardens Apartment Hobart'. We wish to stay there again on our next Hobart trip.

Tom and Pam have a lovely little apartment, sparkling clean, close to public transport and surrounded by serene gardens.Communication with Tom was excellent, he is a most helpful and affable host.Good information on facilities, and also on local attractions.Carpark on site under cover was excellent. Loft style bedroom had vaulted ceiling so it felt roomy.A lovely place to stay in Hobart.

The Gardens Apartment is an absolute joy. Tom and Pam have gone to great effort to provide a delightful apartment with everything that you could possibly need, with lots of little touches that make it so special. Overlooking a beautiful garden, with glimpses of the water beyond, the apartment is the perfect place to enjoy Hobart and the surrounding areas. I was travelling on my own, but always felt very safe and secure, knowing that Tom and Pam were next door. I can highly recommend the apartment and would definitely return there, should I ever be in Tasmania again.

Tom's apartment suited us very well. It was in a good location for us, easy access to Hobart and to the Huon area.Tom greeted us on our arrival, and helped us with explaining how things worked, and was available to address any needs or questions we had.The apartment is kept in excellent condition, with quality appliances and is very clean. We appreciated having the undercover parking provided, although we only had rain on one night. We felt very secure staying here.

We stayed here for 4 nights mid February at the end of our Tasmania trip and it was a great place to stay.The apartment is wonderful. It was clean, neat, tidy and so well stocked with everything we needed and more.Tom and Pam are great hosts, very helpful, and Tom, I loved the guide/manual, it was useful, thank you.Tom's (not so secret) garden was a joy, so beautiful and so well cared for. It was lovely and I wanted to transport it home.The apartment is in a quiet suburb of Hobart, a bit out the city, but with easy bus rides into the city - the best way to travel as it seems very congested. And it was easy to get around in the car, avoiding Hobart, to some amazing places.I'd definitely recommend The Gardens Apartment, it's a great place to stay.Thank you Tom and Pam

Tom and Pam were excellent hosts, both friendly and helpful. We found the Gardens apt. to be in a very convenient location; only ten minutes from Hobart or a short drive to many quieter locations. The apt. was well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet. Their lovely garden was perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine. We will definitely stay with them on our next visit from Canada.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at The Gardens Apartment in March 2023 on our Tasmanian holiday from WA. The reviews were why we chose to stay here and we were not disappointed. Prior contact requesting information was quickly and comprehensively provided. We were welcomed by Tom to a very clean and comfortable 2 storey apartment in which Tom had already turned the heater on so it was very warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets if you needed it. Our request for memory foam pillows was accommodated and greatly appreciated. Everything you can think of was provided including shampoo, conditioner, other bathroom items including makeup wipes, washing powder for the washing machine (which was very handy to have), condiments, breakfast provisions with butter, honey and jam etc. and most importantly, fresh milk. If you love your barista coffee, then this is the place for you as the coffee machine is amazing. They are also very environmentally conscious so all of their products provided, had been sensitively sourced. The location is ideal – a short 2 minute walk will get you to the bus stop that goes straight into central Hobart and the Salamanca markets on a Saturday morning that saves having to find and pay for parking. Tom and Pam were very gracious and helpful hosts and made every effort to make our stay a happy one. Providing us with suitcase scales at the end of our stay, was much appreciated – thank you. We would highly recommend The Gardens Apartment and would happily stay there again should we return to Hobart.
