North Perth School of Early Learning

OMG the turnover of the staffs here is ridiculously high!!! Every single day we saw a new face and my little one didn’t like seeing new faces each day!!! We saw 10 different educators in only one month period in my little one’s age group!!!Although the administration and some educators are really lovely and helpful, it’s obvious that they aren’t settled yet!

My child has been attending North Perth SOEL since it opened and I have found the staff and managers to be nothing but understanding and professional with my son and my family. Having used other child care in the past, I am very pleased that I found somewhere that truly puts the children first, listens to them and has a great focus on artistic processes as a means for expression. Much better than my last place where it was just surface level 'busy work' all the time.

I have 2 kids attending SOEL North Perth aged 2 and 4,my experience with this childcare centre has been extremely unpleasant. I have made so many complaints about the care that is provided it is shocking.My last complaint was made yesterday when I went to pick up my kids,I realised that my son's shorts was damp this was due to a very full nappy, the nappy was rock hard never ever came across a nappy like that.I took it to the manager and questioned it, it looked like my son had only 1 nappy change in the 9 hours that he had been attending the childcare centre. They had only changed his nappy once! The staff had no idea why... but later on the excuse given was that my son apparently chucked a tantrum and didn't want his nappy changed which I believe is totally untrue as I was just given an excuse to cover up the neglect. Even if it was true how can you not change his nappy for the whole day! I was told this would be taken very seriously staff were made aware and had meetings with manager they were even showed the nappy that was rock hard! Recently my children were released from daycare without my knowledge, no one called to notify me that the kids have been released. I dropped them off in the morning then their dad comes to pick up them who isn't listed in any enrolment forms, who isn't listed as authorised person on any forms,who hadn't seen his kids for 9 months, he takes them and brings them back and NORTH PERTH SOEL only lets me know after this had occured and ask for me to give consent AFTER they had already released my kids WITHOUT my consent. One day my son had a serious injury to his eye,at pickup I questioned this bruise,again no one knew how, why ... I asked CCTV footage to be viewed to see what had happened and was told that he hit his head whilst arguing with a child over a toy and no one saw this. I haven't been informed of my child's nose bleeding only found out when my 4 year told me that her brother's nose was bleeding and many other complaints... I took all these complaints to the directors and was told it would be taken very seriously, but instead of seeing improvement I come across things that really concern me and make me question the care given to these kids and their safety whilst in care.SOEL, you state that you have world leading 'best' childcare centres, but have staff who neglect children.I have totally lost my faith and trust in SOEL and will not recommend it to anyone.

My daughter has been at the centre since opening and has now moved through every room. I genuinely cannot speak any higher of the quality of care that she has received. From front desk to management this centre attracts the most genuine, optimistic, dedicated and professional staff. Their response to the covid crisis was nothing short of remarkable. They adapted processes and procedures swiftly and calmly. That calmness radiated through to the children and parents.I toured through 5 different daycare centres before I chose SOEL and I simply wouldn't have been comfortable returning to work without the level of care they provide. I am genuinely sad to be ending our time at the centre so my daughter can go to Primary School.My daughter has flourished in the time that she has been at SOEL North Perth. The Art Studio and Taste Lab have been highlights for her. I have been so impressed with how much my daughter has been able to teach me about aboriginal culture through the work that she has done in the Kindy Program.There was a session that SOEL organised for parents with a fantastic Child Psychologist Louise Porter. The session was amazing and greatly shaped the parent that I am and want to be. They obviously provide fantastic professional development for their staff.

We enrolled our daughter at SOEL earlier this year and our experience has been great. Our little one is always excited to go to day care and seems to enjoy all the different activities.Big thank you to all educators that work hard everyday to look after our babies, and special thank you to Jasmina! We can see how much she loves her job and as a consequence, my daughter loves her too! :) Last but not least, a big thank you to the reception team too who is always willing to help.

I have worked for SOEL for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. The staff are committed, passionate and amazing at what they do. They provide endless amounts of training opportunities for their staff and educators to further their knowledge. Not only are the staff and directors incredible but the physical environments and centres themselves are IMPRESSIVE to say the least. Definitely worth a tour! SOEL is definitely somewhere I would want my children attending, the experiences and learning they provide for them are like no other. They don’t just tell you that’s what they are doing, they actually do it! I feel very proud to work at School of Early Learning.

Love the centre. From the variety of spaces for babies and children to grow and explore, the variety of activities to the well balanced meals, excellent quality. Their educators need a special post on its own. Caring , nurturing yet firm with kids to grow and learn routines , discipline and freedom to grow, explore, play and learn. Very comfortable leaving my child in their care. Highly recommend them!!

North Perth SOEL has consistently provided exemplary care for our daughter. The educators are professional, knowledgeable and very caring. The children are provided with a brilliant range and variety of activities and experiences and we will be sad when our time at SOEL comes to an end.

What a wonderful, nurturing and meticulous environment. Everyday at SOEL I am WOWED by the experiences my children are engaged in. Their opportunities are endless and they are learning so much. I know each day my children are loved, safe and cared for just like they are at home. We love being part of the SOEL family.

Our experience with SOEL at North Perth has been amazing so far, our son enjoys daily activities provided in his baby room.We would also like to say BIG THANK YOU to Jasmina from Wandoo room for being such a great educator and support to us as a parents!Since day 1, Jasmina was there for our family to ease transitioning to day care and we still feel all her support now, 5 months later.Thank you Jasmina for being an incredible person! ❤️
