Amazing cuts, great banter and good value for students. Being able to book online means you don't waste time waiting and you always get the barber you want. All in all, great place to get your hair cut and know it's gonna look great.

I have always liked Dr Snippy's but got ripped off recently when I was over charged. After I gave the cash over I questioned the price and told them I had booked for the student priceand had my student card on me. No effort was made to refund me or say sorry. Poor on that guys behalf and he has let down the service I know dr snippy provides

Went in to get my unkempt beard sorted not really knowing what i wanted. Jimmy was really helpful, cheers champ. Left happy as larry. Haven't been in a barber shop in years but I'll be back to snippys for sure. Nice chilled atmosphere and quality service. Receptionist was on point, price was golden too. Definitely recommend.

Been coming to Dr Snippys for years now. Always an excellent cut no matter who cuts my hair. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. There's a reason I keep coming back.

Now that Dr Snippys has got an online booking system I'll never go anywhere else. They're far more attentive than any other barber I've been to, and aside from that they're super casual and friendly.

Great service, great people. They've change their system so you now book a time slot. This makes getting a hair cut easier and avoids long wait times.

Super friendly crew and great atmosphere at Dr Snippy's. Jono is a wizard with beards and just a meticulous with haircuts and fades. Where I would possibly make a crucial mistake with my facial hair and ruin it, Jono excels and gets it done with knowledge and precision. I won't go anywhere else for my beard management and haircuts.

I used to go to get my hair cut around the corner from where I live and thought close to $50 was pretty reasonable as my hair is hard to cut as I have an odd shaped head. But after moving to Subiaco for work a couple of years back. I was about to head overseas and had called my usual hair dresser but they couldn't fit me in. I was desperately in need of a haircut and rang around and such was my desperation, I almost laid down $85 at Toni and Guy. $85 bucks?! And that was coming up on 3 years ago, mind you.At lunch I went for a stroll down the road to pick up some nosh for the Friday shout for the boys at work and walked past a barber shop that I’d walked past a bazillion times but had never gone in but had seen people popping in and out all day long. As soon as I walked in it brought memories back of when all I’d ever gone to was my trusty barber. There was the old style well cushioned and comfy and adjustable chairs, the razors sitting in disinfectant and a real cool edge was the old arcade Galaga space invaders machine.I sat down and joined a few other chaps waiting to be seen to and immediately noticed how personable the staff were and they seemed to know the customers by the way they spoke to them but after sitting down myself I found myself in conversation with the barber too. It’s something I really appreciate as with some previous encounters, with general run of the mill hair dressers, it can be a bit clinical but Stu made my experience with the chit chat alone and I think it’s something that is often missed by businesses nowadays and the long forgotten art of customer service. I remember every time I used to go to the barber or even jump in a taxi, you’d always have a conversation with the person serving you, whatever the business was and you could talk about anything and strike up a good laugh but it’s rare to find that in this day and age as you’re usually just a number.The hair cut without saying is immaculate every time and you get the little niceties that you don’t get when you go to a regular hair dresser. Stu even offered me a beer whilst I had my hair cut and always takes care and precision with the cut, knows my hair and how it will sit and grow better than anyone. I even notice I don’t have to get a cut as often too because it doesn’t go fuzzy within two weeks as it did with my regular hair dresser. Better still, he remembers my name, details about what I do, things I enjoy outside of work and past conversations. It’s not only his skill with the scissors that shine but every time he holds up the mirror for me to assess the cut, you can see the immense pride he takes in the outcome of my experience in his establishment.Since then I’ve had all his other staff also cut my hair and reflect the passion that Stu has for his pride and joy and they make a great team and I’d happily recommend them anytime.
