The Flooring Emporium

I bought carpet in January last year and it looks worn already.Sent pictures and email in October and no reply. Just had it steamed cleaned and cleaners thought the carpet was 10 years old.

Great people and wonderful showroom. We were very happy with the service and the product options. Howard the Sales Person and Ian the Operations Manager were a delight to deal with. I would happily recommend to anyone of my friends.

The experience we had from the time of purchasing the carpet and the laying and the stunning result was wonderful. Our carpet has lost its pattern and looks warm out just after 6 months. Howard the owner was very pleasant and responsive and sent someone to review. He then came back and said the supplier rep declined our complaint (they said our vacuum cleaner wasn't correct - we have a Kirby and a dyson rechargeable v10- am I expected to spend another $1000 of another vacuum? if so, why wasn't I told that when I made the purchase?). So there is nothing he could do!!!It’s worth noting we had the same wool carpet pattern from another make in our previous house and it did not wear in 5 years.We bought from Howard before and it was fine. This is a very disappointing outcome for such a reputable shop.Taking responsibility for what you sell is number should be a core value.If I buy a faulty product from Kmart do I go to supplier that made the product? no, I just return to Kmart.

The Flooring Emporium was excellent. The showroom and carpet selection was fantastic. Howard and his team knowledgeable and efficient. An absolute pleasure to deal with such a professional operation...and the carpet looks brilliant!
