Reef World Aquarium

Great little aquarium located right on the beach. Reasonable price which includes unlimited entry on the same day. Has nice displays with a variety of fish and you can see the turtles being fed. Has small gift shop as well. Only drawback is due to size is that your over and done quickly. There was not much in the touch tank on the day we visited.

Had an amazing experience at reef world l, my kids got to experience touching and feeding the turtles. For a small aquarium it was an amazing experience.

It's a small aquarium so we didn't spend that long here but it was still interesting and there was enough to look at. Reasonable pricing and you get all day access. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We got lucky and arrived just on feeding time for the turtles, that was a really special experience.

Fantastic day there. The kids got to feed in the aquarium and the turtles out back. Maddie our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and fantastic with the kids. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely little aquarium, the sea turtle feeding at 11am was a great experience. The entry fee includes all day access so you can go back at 230 to feed the fish. Overall a good hour and a half of entertainment for the kids, big and small

I’d like to start off by saying that the place itself is extremely lovely and the turtle swim and feed me and my brother participated in was lovely! However I would also like to drive a point forward about how a certain situation was handled. Me and my family had been to the lovely aquarium 2 days in a row since we loved it so much. On the Friday we were greeted and shown around by Adam and another amazing male staff member. The experience was incredible and Adam even convinced us to come back the next day for the turtle swim! Unfortunately the next day neither two staff members were there and I believe if they had been the situation would have been handled a lot better. As we were waiting for the turtle swim we decided to take part in the feed. Instructions were clearly explained multiple times, however one family did not listen at all and this was causing the turtles to scrape their beaks against the concrete wall and hurt themselves. I had informed the young girl supervising about it and nothing changed, she kept giving the family lettuce to feed to the turtles also. At this point my mother had said to the family “you were told to hold the food away from the wall” the father decided he would start yelling and I then said “if you don’t want people to say anything show your kids how to do it correctly and listen to the instructions” he then got into my face and screamed at the top of his lungs “I AM I F**king AM” and I lashed out at him out of pure frustration. The whole situation happened to be caught on camera by my stepdad thankfully. I believe that the situation would have not escalated if the staff had handled the situation differently and not allowed the family to keep feeding the turtles after they had failed to follow instructions multiple times. Thankfully the family were asked to leave. I would like to maybe suggest Adam or the other male staff member be there at all times supervising as their care for the animals and establishment was clearly greater than the young girls there on the Saturday. This is in no way to have a dig at the girls as they were clearly more on the casual staff member side of things and quite young but the management should definitely have a look into how to better run and staff the feeds and maybe put an age limit on it.

Very small place, well price to get in tell by itself...and pay by card will have surcharge without telling you i didnt see any sign saying it as well...make sure you visit in feeding time at 11am, can feed and pet them which is very coolStaff very nice and helpful, hope you guys can sell more local made staff (honey, jam, hand make thing...?) then stuff from china....
