Had an absolutely great time for 2019 festival, it was very evident that the organisers put a tremendous amount of effort into every section of the festival .

We were camped 3km down the river music was terrible. Should not be allowed to play after midnight, 4am is ridiculous. God help our poor wild life up there.

We didn't go but the extra 10,000 people in Tocumwal outside of traditional holiday times generates business for the locals, which is great. It's a very friendly and polite crowd and the kids clean up after themselves.

A reluctant review but simply TERRIBLE customer service paired with common technical errors with tickets = bad combo. Ticket link came up as “cancelled” and we only found out when we went to sell them. We needed the tix to sell two tix on Tixel (the only way they allow). They took over a week to respond to my email (including follow up emails) and reinstate the tickets by which point tickets were selling for absolute pennies. Cost us hundreds of dollars. Then a friend had an issue with her ticket the week of the festival and couldn’t get in contact with them. Not what you expect for what is a fairly expensive festival ticket.

Literally so many stages with so many genres of music playing. From traditional techno to deep trance, all wants and need were certainly catered for. Also cool art installations around to check out and interact with. The beach stage day 2 was for sure my favourite part, as I’m sure many will agree. Probably one of the last good festivals in NSW as Gladys is ruining everything. Not sure how it’ll be next year, probably fairly similar, but if you’re sick of festivals like BTV or Falls and you don’t reckon you can handle Rainbow or Babylon, then strawberry is for you.Obviously there are some people that take it a bit too far. But for the most part the partygoers are there to party and have a good one + everyone is keen for a chat. Everyone seemed very welcoming and accepting of people from all backgrounds which I think is a ++++++ also neighbours (at least where my group camped) were super nice and looked out for each other. Made some cool new mates that I’ve caught up with since getting backI also really appreciate the sustainability initiatives this festival has adopted like the zero rubbish left behind and the cutlery and plates being returned to designated areas for a refunded portion of your meal price, as well as plenty of rubbish and recycling disposal areas.Wish that it went for 5 days instead of 3 will most definitely be returning.
