Arriving to Originals, it was in the middle in what seemed to be an industrial area in Brookvale with plenty of street parking. It’s not often i make it over to the Northern Beaches, but this lunch was worth the trip!Paul and the staff at Originals were super friendly and clearly passionate about burgers and their food. It was hard to decide what to order because the menu is that good! Paul gave us his recommendations and got us excited to eat.As the beautiful trays of food arrived to our booth, we were even more excited. Traditional American style red basket full of wings, cheese fries exploding out of the bag and 2 x amazing looking burgers dripping with cheese or coleslaw. Also a side of celery sticks for the vego with 3 types of dipping sauce including blue cheese.Double Cheeseburger – double free range grass fed beef, double American cheese, double pickles, tomato sauce and mustard - as recommended by Paul, this did not disappoint, the burger was HUGE, the cheese was my absolute fav proper American cheese, i normally like my burgers with bbq sauce, but the tomato was so much better, i just wish i could have finished it all!!Vege burger - tempeh, cheese, coleslaw, lettuce with peanut butter and sweet chilli sauce - my girl Miranda loved this veggie burger, she especially loved the Tempeh with the hint of peanut butter - damn good!BBQ Maple chicken wings 4 pack - yassssss!! so yummy, especially loved the shallots onto for extra flavour, finished these all mmmCheesy fries - normally when i order cheesy fries, the fried get soggy and the cheese sticks together in clumps. But these Cheesy fries were defiantly the best I’ve ever had! The fries were almost like twice cooked so they were not going soggy anytime soon and the cheese was evenly spread

Decided to try out Originals Burger for a cheeky Friday lunch. Very friendly customer service by the lovely blonde lady. Tried the classic cheeseburger with fries and a caramel thickshake. The chips were fresh, clean oil used and super crunchy with only mild salt (if you want extra salt just ask) which I preferred. The burger was juicy and did not fall apart. Thickshake was just perfection. They even give you a tall glass of water to wash it all down. Perfect food and service in a nice open space. What impressed me the most though was they played Tropic Thunder music, thanks for making me smile. I'll be back to try more of the delicious menu.Cheers!

Some of the most bad customer engagement ever in my lifeArrive to order and the girl is sitting down in the customer areaTakes my order then proceeds to help in the kitchen without washing her hands or tying her hair up then starts eating food behind the counter in the kitchen area if you don't understand correct osh procedures or the operations manual don't work in this industry Chips over salted spent $48.00 never again

Their Oreo thick shake is actually just an average milkshake, their milkshakes must be like chocolate milk, and at $12 is well below par. Chicken burger for $10 was good. Decor is cool and service is friendly. Full priced menu is a rip off.

2 stars as this is not a place for vegetarians especially with kids. There was only 1 veg burger on the menu and the kids meal had no choice for veg. The other burger joints that we have been to are happy to customise a kids burger by not including a meat patty but unfortunately that wasn't an option here. So my children ended up only eating French Fries.

Had an Original Burger and it was a great well done basic burger packed with flavour.

Awesome double cheese burger and buffalo wings. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in brookvale!
