Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery

We had a great experience! We tested the most beautiful and exotic fruit translated in wine! The service was great very knowledgeable and friendly people. We highly recommend this place if you want to try something different in wines! Also the set up was lovely.

Great little find, you can do on the way back from Mossman Gorge. Tropical wines does not sound tempting but we were positive surprised. Our favourite were the Kefir Lime and The Chocolate fortified.

What a lovely spot, the atmosphere and gardens are fantastic and the wines, well that is up another level. They are so nice. Poor Trudey was a very busy lady when we turned up but she still took the time to go through all the wines. Glad she did. Yummy

I highly recommend the winery, if you think it is sweet think again. The smell of all the wines are to die for, the owners are amazing and friendly. Great discount.

Trudy was so lovely, shared valuable information about pairings and the creation of the wine. Fantastic way to spend some time, walked away with some great purchases!

The problem is not the wines, which in themselves are interesting and with unusual flavors when you are a wine lover (grapes) but the welcome and the way of receiving. Being young and French, we were already leaving with less points. There is a tasting of 4 wines, and one of the whole range with obligation to purchase. The person was already leaving with an idea that we would not buy bottles (I left with $50 worth of bottles anyway, but I could have bought a lot more). The tasting was therefore limited to the 4 wines, with an unpleasant feeling of discomfort. Being an Agricultural Engineer with some of my friends who work in wine, and a tasting experience, I found this way of doing things haughty and outdated. I would do bad publicity to my young and French friends who would have been a perfect clientele.
