Coco Nails Glenelg

All the staff at Coco are so friendly and talented. I normally take my girlfriend here to get our nails done together, always happy with the result. They put lots of effort into the service from pedicure to nails design. It is impossible for any of these ladies who works at Coco to receive any bad review. Will definitely come back!

I usually have a great experience with my regular lady I see here but she is currently away so someone else had done my nails, I have had to go back twice now in less then a week to get nails repaired as the set wasn’t done properly. My last visit I had 2 nails replaced and was charged for the replacement of a mistake on their behalf and on-top of being charged for their mistakes the replacement nails were not even measured and were rushed through. I politely called up to express my concerns and had the blame turned back into me. The service was not good enough from my perspective and I will not be returning and going elsewhere as I found it handled very rudely.

Worst nail salon I have ever been to in the 18 years of having my nails done!Absolute shocking work and rude staff who have no clue what they are doing!I have been having coffin shape nails for years and the first girl told me I had to have almond shape as coffin shape is too hard. She then disappeared without a word and another girl came over and argued that she couldn’t do the shape I wanted as they had set shapes they have to adhere to. Coffin shape is an extremely common nail shape and nothing out of the ordinary.She was so rough on my natural nails, nearly filing through to the nail bed. She took no care with the acrylic nails, no filing of the edges was done to ensure they don’t seperate and the shape is terrible and nothing like I requested!Had to ask her to file the top of two nails as they were so crooked I don’t know how she missed it!None of the tips of the nails are painted and the nails are so thick that this visibly noticeable!Nail polish is all over my skin, nails are so poorly filed there is bits sticking off and they feel rough to touch.The girl was rude and continually yelled out to other customers throughout the appointment and one girl she was yelling at was visibly uncomfortable as she was trying to talk to her nail technician while being yelled out!I had an appointment booked for 4:30pm and I waited 25 minutes past this time with no apology or any acknowledgement of when someone would be with me!I spoke to the gentleman when I left and said I wouldn’t be returning and his response was “see you next time”.Will never return, this has to be one of the worst nail salons in South Australia!Terrible service, terrible nails, terrible staff!I would give less than one star if that was an option!

I booked for a pedicure with French tip and thought it rather odd that no water went into the foot bath. I assumed that they might have a different way of going about a standard pedicure. I had my regular varnish removed and a white tip done. I then sat there for 30 mins without anyone doing anything. I had to leave for another appointment and when leaving I was asked for full payment for a pedicure. I didn’t even have the light pink varnish put on. I had an irrational, irate lady come to me and tell me that I was “very, very rude” because I wasn’t about to pay $35 for a white line (done badly at that). I offered $15 and they insisted that it was in cash. She put the money straight into her pocket. I would never visit this salon again nor could I recommend it. I wish I was able to post a photo. i went in today to do refill and colouri asked many times from Kristen to do the sides she kept ignoring me .just want to tell you we go in and we do pay for our nails ..so please listen to your clients for once..Please go to Bio nails in prospectlearn from there service and qualityso disappointed !!!

Booked into Coco to have acrylic with a design. The outcome of them was not what I wanted or potentially expected. I called to ask if I could come in again and get it fixed. Kristine was lovely and accommodated instantly. Although I had to return, I appreciated her for making me feel like it was not a problem.

A fantastic nail bar in Glenelg. Extremely clean, friendly staff and a much better experience than most nail salons you find. Extremely well priced too. Will definitely be returning next time we're through!

The first time I visited, my nails weren’t straight. (It was coffin shaped and the ends were all slopey). Second time though, my nails came out brilliantly. They’re really good at nail art.

edit: quality is now as poor as the service - poor customer serviceHave come here quite a few times and used to love the quality of nails that Coco delivers however recently the customer service is terrible and the quality is just as poor. I'm treated poorly if I have an issue and a few weeks ago was turned away as I didn't have an appointment (which was fair) however other times I have had an appointment and watched them take walk-ins while I waited 30-45 minutes after my appointment time to even be seated. Very poor time management, poor customer service and poor quality just to round it all out. definitely won't be back again and definitely don't recommend

I really love coming to this nail salon. Everyone is very kind and professional. And in terms of design very talented. However the last two times I have come for acrylics, they have only last a week before falling off. Which has made me come less than usual especially with acrylics and the price of them, I am told they should last 4 weeks not 1. Still a great salon and I still recommend over others in glenelg.
