Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Footscray is a really friendly and welcoming environment. As a newcomer to martial arts in general I was quickly put at ease by the staff and other students and supported in learning new skills.

The atmosphere is great and very welcoming. I never really saw myself doing Jiu Jitsu but Gracie Footscray came highly recommended by a friend of mine. After doing the free trial and being welcomed by the friendly team I decided to join properly and become a member. It's something I now look forward to everyday and it's amazing how much you see yourself grow and learn after each class. The system they teach is very beginner friendly and they make sure to show you the proper techniques which are broken-down step by step making it very easy to follow. Some other martial arts places I've been to throw you off the deep end right away which just leads to injuries and frustration but here they take the time to make sure you have a proper understanding of what you're doing and they really care about your safety and progress. Awesome Jiu-Jitsu gym. The classes are structured so you know what move you will be training before class and you get access to Gracie University so you can watch really informative videos about the move you will be learning. I really like this style and appreciate how much effort has been put in to maximise the learning. To top is all off, the coaches here are fantastic and really help you perfect your technique. If you are interested in Jiu-Jitsu, you should definitely come down and give the 10-day free trial period a go!
