Telstra East Maitland

Attended the Greenhills store and received poor customer service. I have 2 mobile plan only and my internet with Telstra, I attended the shop to use my points to purchase a phone charger, there were 3 staff members having casual conversations with each other, I was told I would have to come back in 45 min if I wanted to use my points but if I wanted to pay cash I could do it straight away.The reason I pay a little extra to be with Telstra is for the convenience of store locations and customer service.

Issue with eSim activation. Attended store and Daniel was an amazing help. Clarified issue with online order completion. In and out in 5 minutes.UpdateSpoke with support team and got my online order complete. I rushed back at 4.58 and Daniel served me again. Provisioned a Sim on the spot. Very happy customer

So, I went in looking for a Nighthawk 2.0 modem which some stores carry. Needing a solution for internet at the markets for mu Square register.Of course this store only has the Nighthawk 6.0. It’s $799 compared to the $389 (approx) that I wanted to spend.Then the Telstra guy talked me into the $399 generic model. Same thing just “cheaper”. Then he wanted to know about my contract. Am not on one except for internet for home.Asked me how much my phone bill was each month ($68) and told me i’d need to subscribe to a large data plan for this device. At that stage I told him I’d think about it and purchase online if I wanted it.Less than two weeks ago they had sold me a sim for a wifi dongle, but claimed it was “unsuitable” for this new device.Every single time I step in the door here one salesperson or another tries to shaft me with really bad deals. Am a lot sick of it.This might just be the straw that broke the camel’s back.I have a business account and they always, always are trying to upsell me on a plan. I am so not interested.Outcome of today’s journey? I went to J-B Hi Fi and brought a D link device. All connected quite nicely and does what it is meant to without the $888 price tag telstra wanted to hit me with.It’s truly transparent that they are pushing their kpis at this store. Customer service doesn’t enter into it and it shows. It’s all about the $$$$.Couldn’t be a more different experience at J-B hi Fi. They took the time to determine what I needed and matched the product to the function.10/10 J-B Hi Fi. 2/10 Telstra.

TELESTRA GREEN HILL STOREWanted book myself in for the following day and they said that I didn't need to,but all I had to do was to walk in. so the following day I asked half day off at work and walked in as they said and they told me:can't attend u, come back another day. The 2 girls in there that I spoken to were extremely rude and indifferent to my me and the situation that telestra created.Someone with some green hairs called Angelina i think,and another one called Jacinta,that first she said she was the manager in charge of the store,then she said she wasn't. Honestly, im cancelling my contract with them mainly because of those 2 girls. This feedback will be followed bya formal complaint letter against them.Green hill 10/11/2022 6pm

After a serious issue with my business account, Jacinda and Dan their friendly managers directed us to sit with a consultant the resolved everything seamlessly! Real top stuff guys, cheers

Arrived at 6:45 to purchase a new phone and the store was closed early, traveled 40 minutes to get there and this is the respect they have for customers. Poor

Guy at customer service desk should find a new job walking dogs or something . He has no aproach to customers and not helpful,

Absolutely useless staff and takes forever to get to talk to them. Jacob, Beth and all the crew at this store have no idea what they are doing or fix any issues for their customers. They give up easily as soon as there is any minor inconvenience. I have waited over 2 weeks for them to call me back with any updates. No one wants to take responsibility for anything and they refuse to get their manager or anyone else involved. 0 star

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I have asked numerous times for someone to help me with my account yet I am met with excuses everytime. Both Beth and Jacob the store manager have given me nothing but grief. I cannot recommend using Telstra at all.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. They followed up with a courtesy call a few days later to make sure everything with the new phone was going well.
