Hallam Auto Works - Repco Authorised Car Service

They are a bit on the pricey side, compared to other quotes I've had. The car's former owner went there, that's why I contacted them, they were unobliging to talk to me, about repairs that it had had. The receptionist said that repair prices were negotiable, just didn't seem very professional.

Went in with a blown head gasket. The mechanic replaced the head gasket and did some other repairs. The repairs only lasted 500km and cost $2500. Took the car to another mechanic and they said 'the engine should of just been replaced, it was too far gone. Hallam repco service center should of known better and been better at diagnosing the issue and not waste my money!

Do not take your car here, especially for air conditioning servicing. I paid these guys to fix my aircon, 5 minutes driving down the road it stopped working. He said there was a part that needed to be replaced, waiting 2 weeks and heard nothing. Then lied and said the part was in transit when it WASN'T (as found out later on as I took my complaint further). This business stole my money, had to take my car elsewhere and was fixed on the spot for half the price these guys charged me.

I was with their receptionist on the phone just 2 minutes ago and i was shocked the way she was talking on phone.I called Repco Car Service Hallam just to get an estimate quote for my vehicle scheduled service. Lady on the phone had no idea about information i need. She quoted 3 difference prices in 10 minutes and finally her excuse was this is the price i can see on the system.I simply asked her to quote me material + labour as I want to know total out of pocket expense. She wasn't able to assist at all. Finally she told me Look! I can't talk as I am very busy.". How on earth can you be so rude with your client who called you for the FIRST TIME.Extremely disappointed. I am going to write a written complain to REPCO expressing their franchisee's customer service quality."

Friendly staff! Trustworthy bunch of blokes. Highly recommend. Definitely will be returning

Honest bunch of mechanics, got my car serviced there and would definitely refer to my friends. Plus cost effective!

I've been taking my cars there for about 4 years now great service won't go anywhere else even tho move away from area I still take cars there.
