The A-Frame

The A-frame is an A+ place! Incredible place for a getaway with spectacular scenery and views and be amongst nature to look out at, just a short walk to the heart of Halls Gap. It is quirky and comfortable. Host Tim is unbelievably thoughtful even putting effort in to assist with memorable moment! Tim is approachable and helpful , the place is with packed with essentials and additional information for places to see and do! Hand built furniture by himself is also a stunning touch to the A-Frame. Definitely would visit again! Thank you!

Lovely holiday house with everything you need to enjoy a family holiday. Great outlook, convenient location and friendly owner/ host who offers fantastic advice and keeps the house in order. We have stayed twice now and will go back again!There are 2 good sized bedrooms, the main with a spa and the second room is a large loft with 2 singles and a double bed. The beds are very comfortable.The kitchen has everything you need to cook if you choose.

The A-frame is just spectacular. The house is really comfy and at a perfect location close to everything you need as well as many sites. Tim is just amazing with assistance and more than helpful in suggeting some nice tour sites and climbs..also be sure to visit his woodwork shop which has an array of unique pieces made by him. I would highly recommend the Aframe...and not to forget watching wildlife and birds next to a campfire...simply a gem!

Tim is a great host with suggestions on what to see and do around Halls Gap. Very comfortable place to stay. Kitchen, dining, lounge area. Main bedroom downstairs with hot tub. Large sleeping area upstairs with beds. Heating and cooling. Laundry in bathroom. Patio with seating and bbq. Kangaroos outside the back door in the mornings. Also ducks, kookaburras, magpies and other birds. We saw emus a bit further out. Good views of the mountain with clouds and mist floating by. Carport at the front door. Please dont feed any wildlife, here or in the bush. Check out surrounding areas as a few things to see. Enjoy.

This accommodation sure beats a motel / hotel room. There is plenty of space with a nice rear yard to sit on the verandah and use the BBQ. Unfortunately the house gets cold in winter despite the reverse cycle heater/ air conditioner. There is no Netflix/ Foxtel on the TV. The house is neat and tidy with kitchen appliances provided including cutlery and crockery. A recommended option if looking at accommodation in Halls Gap

We stayed in The A-Frame during the long AFL Final weekend. The house is immaculate and very well equipped. Probably one of the best holiday rentals I have stayed in.My daughter loved the upstairs loft room with its own balcony. The property backs onto an open clearing where the kangaroos and emus like to hang out. The living area is spacious and open plan.The owner is a master furniture maker and has his workshop and showroom next door. The property has some of his work inside. He went out of his way to ensure we had all the information we needed and recommended a few walks and spots to visit.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Stayed for 3 nights, we had the best amazing time in Halls Gap we've had ever been. The host- Tim" is such a terrific guy could not do enough for us if we needed him for anything. The A Frame gorgeous accommodation

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a great location within easy walking distance of shops etc. but far enough to be quiet and peaceful.Everything needed was provided and the owner is very friendly and helpful.Would highly recommend staying here.

This stunning gem is a must when visiting the Grampians, it has everything you need and only a short walk to the centre of town! With other attractions close by its very central. Wildlife right at your doorstep.Host Tim is fantastic, great sense of humour and very accommodating. Tim helped me organise something really special and I can't thank him enough! Will definitely visit and stay again. Highly recommended!!

Tim is a great bloke and full of local knowledge.. The A frame is comfortable, clean and homey… Our 2nd visit but definitely not our last..
