We enjoyed every minutes of our visit to this amazing place, views are breathtaking from every angles, family and kids just loved it, sunset was magical, we are coming back

The home is clean and very comfortable. The views are amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing and very peaceful. A great place to unwind and recharge.The owner is also extremely accommodating.

When I first saw this property online, it seemed almost too good to be true. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Esmail is the most thoughtful, fun host. He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around the area. The house is really comfortable. The location was incredible! Thank you!

SPECTACULAR!House perched on top of a hill with views to the ocean, Glass House Mountains and surrounding farmlands. This magical house has everything you could need for a get away. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring and meeting the very friendly curious cows. Esmail (the host) is very friendly and welcoming. The surprising touches were a treat. Great photo opportunities no matter the weather. We would love to come back.

Petrichor Estate really is unlike anywhere else. The sense of serenity and peaceful solitude is so unique- it feels like you’re on top of the world. My review is long as there is so much to say, but in short- it's perfect, stay as long as you can.The house is on the peak of a private mountain, with breathtaking views in every direction. You can watch the sunrise from the comfort of your bedroom in the morning, and the sunset is unreal from a big picnic blanket out the back. The view at night is just as good (even from inside), with lots of stars as well as city lights off in the distance.There are big open grassy fields, a huge pool, a fire pit carved into the side of the mountain, walking trails (an absolute must at sunset), friendly cows (but no smell whatsoever). Even though the mountain top is so open, the entire property is up so high that it feels very private. Eagles sore at eye level in front of you.The entire house is plumbed into rainwater tanks- the water tastes amazing and showers feel so fresh without chlorine. Every amenity you could want is provided, including a washer & dryer, full kitchen, BBQ, and ice maker. Everything was spotlessly clean. The linens and towels were very plush. If you need any extra food, there's an IGA just a short drive away. Huge TV with Netflix, lots of giant boardgames to play while you enjoy outdoors- Jenga and Connect 4 sure to give you a laugh. Great spaces for reading. If you enjoy painting, drawing or photography, you couldn't possibly pick a better place to be.Esmail is one of the kindest, friendliest, most genuine people you will ever meet. He goes out of his way to make sure your stay is 100% perfect. It’s so rare to find a host (whether it be a hotel, resort, or AirBNB) who genuinely cares about your experience. You can see how much he loves this place, and it’s easy to see why.We take our dogs everywhere we go, so felt very lucky to be able to bring them along with us to somewhere as luxurious Petrichor Estate. They had an absolute ball running around and smelling the mountain air- I have never seen them so happy before.The only advice I have is to stay as long as you can, because you won’t want to leave! We’re counting down the days until we can return to our favourite mountain-top getaway.

WOW! The best place I have ever been! An incredible place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, a perfect retreat with nature and local fauna and flora. Privacy 360 degrees. Fabulous views of the ocean, glass house mountains, rainforest, sunshine coast, and even Brisbane city, huge swimming pool, nice interior, and many other unforgettable things. Every day spent there is UNIQUE!Definitely recommend it!
