Karate Laurieton - Matsubayashi-ryu Dojo

The Matsubayashi-ryu Karate Association of Australia, and its dojo in Wingham, Taree, Laurieton, are of the highest standards. Having grown up on the mid-north coast, I spent my formative years learning karate at these dojos under the guidance of Sensei John Carlyle, a Okinawa/Japan accredited karate teacher. These dojo foster not only strong karate, but a strong community. The lessons I learnt at these dojo have had great influence on me as a person, and have formed the foundation for the dojo I now operate in Canberra. I am pleased to have been affiliated with this dojo and its teachers for more than 20 years. I would recommend it to any person seeking authentic karate instruction, child or adult.
