Harcourts Croydon took over management of the property we were renting after us having had our rental managed by another agent for some 3 years. In the very short time they were our agents (We bought our own home and moved out not long after the change over) more was done than in the previous 3 years. Rhys was very responsive, helpful and professional. We have long term plans to eventually buy a second much larger home and to rent out the one we have just purchased. I know when that time comes which agency i will be approaching to manage it for us. Its not often you can walk away from a rental with a totally positive experience but there is a first time for everything. Harcourts Croydon are top notch and the most professional outfit i have ever encountered in all my years as a tenant.

Believe me when I say, Harcourts Choice Croydon are the best people to deal with. Very professional and easy to deal with, organized and friendly. The lady who help us to find the place to call home was more than helpful and patient. Lauren and Rhys they made our move to the new house to seem very easy and peaceful. We have inspected a number of Harcourts properties on behalf of our clients at Melbourne Rental Search and have consistently found the team to be professional and well presented. Rhys in particular has been outstanding and is always willing to assist prospective tenants (even on a weekend!). With a work ethic like this we can only assume his landlords are extremely satisfied with his service and ability to lease properties quickly and with great returns.

Terribly dissatisfied with the service provided. My agent lacked professionality and important communications were missed.During the negotiation process of a private sale, we were told in writing that an offer of X had been made, and then days later that figure reduced by $5000 with no explanation whatsoever.This type of misunderstanding does not happen when you are supposedly dealing with an industry professional.Yet we were asked to be patient, manage our expectations and that they would try to work back up to that number.Our potential buyer was not qualified by the agency at all. No deposit was taken, and even though it stated in the contract, the $1500 holding deposit was not taken or discussed ever after signing.Whilst the property was under offer we received 17 new enquiries, and were only told about these more than 1 month later after we wasted valuable time granting extensions for finance to the one interested party".Granted these are tough times selling property during the covid crisis but this does not give agents the excuse not to follow up and provide at least weekly reports.
