Hart Of The Barossa

I came across Hart of the Barossa purely by chance while looking for wineries that would host a small group for lunch.As luck would have it, they were hosting a long lunch at the time my group would be in the Barossa so we booked. I admit to feeling a bit nervous about both the food and the wine given they were an unknown to our group however we needn’t have worried.Alisa and Michael are warm, welcoming hosts who are obviously passionate about sharing their stunning property and wines with guests.Hart has one of the cutest and atmospheric cellar doors we visited, and the new building that hosted the long lunch was perfect, with floor to ceiling windows showcasing the vines right outside.The long lunch was fabulous, both the food and the wines were delicious and perfectly matched - this was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Barossa.

Great family owned winery, fantastic very affordable wines and the hostess, what a gem. Took a lot of time to make us enjoy the wine and cosy atmosphere.

My wife and I recently visited the Hart of the Barossa cellar door. It is a charming, rustic building with a warm fire and lots of atmosphere. Our host, Alyssia (I hope I spelled that correctly) was absolutely wonderful - very friendly, engaging and informative. The wines are all organically produced and were delicious. We have a dozen being posed to us as I write. The owner, Alisa also joined us and showed us around some of the new additions to the property. A fantastic winery that should be on everyone's Barossa-list to visit.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We did not grab the ladies name but she was extremely well versed and had an extremely in depth understanding of their wine.The wines themselves were very Barossa". Heavy

Best wine tasting I’ve ever been to! Gorgeous wines, and Alyssia was such a fabulous host! Very knowledgable and personable.

Beautiful little gem. We visited this charming place on Saturday and the decor was enchanting. We had an amazing wine tasting experience by the fireplace and it felt so cosy. Alicia took care of us and she was so delightful, very knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic! We purchased a few bottles as the wine was divine and we had such a great experience that now we are hoping to come back soon to taste their lunch experience which seems to be very special as well ! Definitely a place to visit , you will be amazed :)

Found this place by chance. So much better than the bigger wineries and some unique organic wines. The Rose had a much better taste than other Australian rose. Bought far moew wine than we intended and will rrturn when we are next in SA

Everything was amazing! Tasty wines, friendly staff, cozy atmoshphere. Owned by a lovely couple who created a beautiful down to earth experience.
