What a beautiful place! The Rocks are actually red! Haha. Very chilled beach, a nice little headland to go check out, pretty views up and down the coast. Worth a visit if you are looking for a quiet secluded beach.

Osca totally loved this magical beach. Too rough to swim today, but perfect playing on the edge. Surprised how warm the water was.

Red Rock Beach
Great beach, picturesque headland and beautiful river. The surf beach is a short walk over the headland and is patrolled in summer. The river entrance offers a protected surf beach with a shallow slope (no surf patrol on the day we visited) and the opportunity to snorkel around the rocks or to drift snorkel on the inflowing tide. Unfortunately, there weren't many fish to see when we went in, but it was a great swim any way. Very family friendly place, particularly on the estuary, with lots of kids (and parents) riding flotation devices up the river from the entrance.

One of our favourite places to go as teenagers. We'd got for beach-walks north to station creek and south to Corindi. We collected cuttlefish and pumice stone washed up on the beach. Also found piles of discarded clothing but if we didn't know the skinny-dippers it belong to we left them :)

Lovely place to visit with the family. Doesn’t cost a thing to visit and has incredible views. Red rock has plenty of great places to fish and to go for a swim. The general store at red rock is quite pricy though so it’s best to pack and lunch and bring drinks. There’s also a nice beach not far from fishing spots that is a nice place to relax. Highly recommend.

We loved spending the day here swimming and enjoying the sun. Water is clear and blue and the river is beautiful.
