I am a regular customer for a long time. After today I am not going to visit them again. My husband and I ordered Halo prawn pasta and soba beef salad.Firstly, the waiter placed wrong order to kitchen and they served us wrong dish.First time I tried to understand but another waiter served us another wrong dish. Also they didn't apologise properly until we leave.Secondly, the salad leaves in my dish was really disgusting. Not fresh and turned into black. Do you know that if you eat old salad leaves, it is more toxic and dangerous than other food poisoning?Lastly, the way they cooked the Halo prawn pasta is wrong. It used to be stir fried well in tomato sauce and all sauce was coated with pasta. But what we had today is tomato soup pasta.This cafe used to be really good one. But nowadays, the quality of service and food are getting worse and worse.Really disappointed and not going back. It is really shame. I just wasted my money today.

After trying all the big breakfast and brunch style places in Eastwood, this is my go to. The chicken parmigiana is the best I’ve ever had with a generous serving of chips, a moorish and light salad and heaps of bacon, cheese and sauce on top of perfectly crumbed and cooked chicken. Another highlight is the beef burger and the big breakfast, all made with high quality ingredients.Chaffee house is also my go to for hot chocolates on this side of Eastwood, nothing else compares in taste vs price vs speed. Highly recommend.

Newly renovated cafe has attracted many new coffee goers to sample their coffee and breakfast & lunch menu.Their coffee beans are great. (Depending on which barista they might have off-days so best to start with a small coffee).Food are quality and not bad. Price is reasonable too.Staff are friendly and the owner seems to be keen to listen to customers feedback and improve. A great place to hang out with friends or work away with your own device.Optional: Would be great to have some background music.

Chaffee House Eastwood
The much cherished Cafe Centro has been renovated under new management to become Chaffee House. The place has not lost any of its bustle but has improved on its decor, lighting and aesthetics. The mains have changed as well, but much of it is still the same. I was very glad to see the previous barista still there, delivering great quality coffee. I recommend you check it out!

A very busy cafe, the staff were very busy but they still tried to be as attentive as possible. The mushroom soup was very nice and as soon as I poke a hole in the puffed pastry I could smell the truffle straight away! That really increase my appetite haha!The squid ink pasta tasted nice, the seafood wasn’t over cooked and just right.Will definitely come back!

I enjoyed it - there is a staffer who has no-clue, but the ones from before they re-opened and the chef still seem to be good. The coffee is great and so is their 'boutique' tea. Recommend it if you want to pick-up a conversation with someone or hangout.

The chef knows how to cook .I normally order the mushrooms dish , it is delicious! Today I have ordered the chorizo pot , it’s just as good . Very happy
