She has been willing to take the time to answer questions about how to move forward and link us with appropriate services as needed. Helen is a real people helper!

Helen has been fantastic for my needs, visiting Helen feels more like going to a friends place for a chat and a cuppa and that makes the whole experience of seeking help much easier and makes the conversation flow better. Helen is also very realistic and down to earth with her advice and support. I have really enjoyed seeing her and find myself looking forward to my appointments.

Helen also leaves you feeling more empowered each time you leave an appointment which is so important as a client and not just a text book case to judge & label ( which in my personal experience others seem to do very quickly generally at the first appointment without knowing the full circumstances, Attending appointments with Helen you are treated as an equal which puts you at ease as Helen is so personable & really cares this also makes her stand out as a psychologist who really has such dedication & real passion to help her clients. I personally want to thank Helen for her dedication, time, individual psychological services, kindness, care, hope & treating me & my family for a better future ahead. I'd like to thank Helen Gibson for all of her help, support and guidance over the last five years. I have worked with Helen on an off since 2014. I have always found Helen's kindness, compassion, empathy and understanding to be a great source of healing and support in my ongoing journey of recovery from PTSD related trauma, childhood abuse, chronic and acute anxiety disorder and clinical depression.Helen was instrumental in identifying and testing me for dyslexia (something I have struggled with all my life, but that was never picked up, diagnosed or treated). This has effected my self esteem, confidence and ability to learn. It had been a great source of shame for me all my life, particularly at school. Helen is so good, she is really experienced and you can tell. She always has a rational way of explaining my emotionally charged situations and she really helps to give me perspective. She explains things straight up, no beating around the bush and says what you need to hear... One of the most effective psychologists I've come across and I value her so much.Highly recommend.

my partner and I first visited Helen approx. 4yrs ago for relationship advice.
