Culburra fish & chips
Found this place by accident and the food is amazing. Fish, pineapple fritters and prawn cutlet is very juicy and tasty. Scallop and fish cocktail is very flavourful. Price is very cheap and reasonable as well. Highly recommend this place.

Honestly it was better than what we expected judging from outside appearances of the place but it really is just an average fish and chips store. The fish was alright but the chips were really lack luster as they’re really yellow and soft. Personally a fan of crisp and there’s none. The shake was also pretty weak.

Decent fish and chips although we were surprised that it wasn't one big piece of fillet but rather a couple of smaller ones.Huge chicken dimsum pieces.Great thai curries though which was a surprise too!Great service and really accommodating to our big group of 8 and a dog.

Pretty good fish and chip shop. There was a table for two outside (and undercover) so we sat down with our dogs and they were thrilled to get pats from the many people who dropped in to the chippy to get takeaway. It seems like a popular place. People in Culburra seem friendly. The person who served us was also very obliging and brought our order to the table. I didn’t see any vinegar or sauce to add to my chips so just ate it as the chef intended (choice is chicken salt or salt). I love chicken salt! It was $14.50 for a very large portion. The sign in the window says homemade tartare sauce. To me it was too sweet so I wasn’t a fan. The chips were good and the batter was light and crispy. Not sure what fish they used but it was firm and fresh. Flathead? I would visit this place again for a fish and chip fix.

Great food at great prices! The chips were crunchy and well salted. The prawns were succulent and with a slight crunch. The calamari were soft and not chewy at all. Although it was very busy when I ordered, the lovely staff worked quickly to get everybody’s orders out. Highly recommend!

Beautiful grilled and crumbed fish, as well as a classic crab stick nice and lightly coated in light crispy batter. Beautiful. Chips were rubbish though unfortunately.

I waited 38minutes for a medium chips and no apology on the delay! We brought the chips home and they were not hot and the taste was definitely not worth the price or the wait! Very dissatisfied and will not be returning!

Very yummy & great value for $$. I ordered a fisherman's basket, a fish burger, + an extra battered fish + an extra crumbed fish for a family of 4 for only $50! We had ample leftover! Fish was extremely fresh+ calamari rings were not chewy at all! Highly recommend!

Culburra fish & chips
I was excited with new management of this place, as Culburra beach needs a good fish and chips venue. I got some battered fish, calamari, fish cocktails, nuggets and chips. The fish was brilliant. Not too fishy, well cooked and batter was tasty and not overpowering. 1 serve came with two large pieces. Calamari was also perfectly cooked, not at all stringy. Sadly, the chips were disappointing. Tasted dried out, old. My kids didn’t seem to mind, and ate them anyway. Should probably have rated less stars, but the rest was so good, and I might have just got a bad batch of chips...
