Golden Mongkok Chinese Restaurant
My favourite yum cha place. My boyfriend and I had our first date here, and still come here weekly to fortnightly 3 years later. Good food fuels a good relationship! Even after the name change and a chef change I believe this place is still top of our list. Food is well priced, setting you back about $25 per head. Great for small and intimate meals or big group gatherings. Thanks crew! See you soon ♡♡♡

Tasty yumcha, fast turnover. This is a pretty small restaurant and prices are more expensive than others, but great if you're in the area and don't want to drive to the city. Cheapest dish M at $7.8, but only $1 pp for tea.The XO fried radish cakes were great, deep fried outside (very oily) but super soft and fluffy inside. Salted egg buns also great, and same price as the custard buns. Good flavours on all the usual yumcha dishes too.

For those who crave excellent Chinese Seafood cuisine, this place do not dissapoint! We cleaned out the Salted Chilli Prawn, Lemon Chicken and the Salt and Pepper Squid tentacles are dishes to make local Singaporeans happy!The owner and her children came from Mongkok Hong Kong, which is testament of the Cantonese tastes!

Went for quick lunch, Excellent place for dim sum. Best salt pepper squid tentacles lightly battered and flavourful. Ordered the homemade prawn and prawn chive’s dumplings. Nice size portion and reasonable pricing. Clean and tidy eatery. Chinese tea is good too.

Absolutely delicious food!!! So glad everywhere else was closed on a public holiday as we probably wouldn't have found/tried otherwise but I'm so glad we have! Will 100% come back here to try more as everyone was happy with their food!

Came for banquets only. Haven't tried to yum cha and dim sums here. Recently for Chinese New Year's banquet. Pre-order the tailor-made dishes. Price was unknown until the day of banquet. Food presentation was ok. Fish maw & Seafood soup魚肚海皇 (5/10) was not flavoursome because it was not thick enough, and the fish maw was not soften thoroughly. The seafood (lobster with noodles, steamed Scallop with garlic, steamed coral trout) was good, especially the fish (9/10). The scallops were not so consistent around the table. The steamed fish was spot on. However, the chicken and the pork dish were so dry (5/10). The beef was lack of texture (6/10). Service was just average (7/10).

Favourite dim sum in Perth. Gets pretty busy, but turnover is quick. Dumplings are meaty and delicious. No scrimping on filling at this place. The Siu Mai prawn and pork is a must-have.So are the radish cakes, which are tender without being mushy.

Yum cha here is excellent, tasty, fresh and fairly quick. It's gets 4.2 stars. Minus two stars for using thin plastic sheets disguised to look and feel like paper, this sheet is changed for every customer... how many thousands of sheets do they go through a year.... Appalling... Reported to compliance WA for single use plastics.No, it stretches in your hand... paper does not stretch like plastic. I bet when burnt, it would shrink.... Also not like paper. In the first image I stretched it.... just like thin plastic. Anyway, you customer can test it for themselves. I won't be coming back.

We tried the dim sum here today. This review is just based on the dim sum. The dim sum here is quite good. The fried radish cake is especially fabulous. Crispy outside and soft inside. There is ample free parking outside. The bathrooms are very well maintained and clean.

Went for dim sum.Nice size portion and reasonable pricing.Clean and comfortable atmosphere.Free parking.Friendly staff.Strongly recommend-XO fried radish cake. Crispy outside and soft inside.-Bean curds roll with oyster sauce.
