Not bad but not good/memorable. Had the set menu for dinner. Food was quite bland and uninspiring; lacking balance, flavor and texture. The rocket side-salad was the highlight. Portion sizes small (for a 70kg male). Nothing particularly bad, but nothing great, exciting or memorable. Expensive. Unlikely to return.

Apart from the worms in our Iceberg lettuce dish (which put a dampener on the experience), the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you're Ballarat way.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Ballarat. The food is always fantastic and I am always delighted when food comes! I also love their atmosphere and vibe. Everyone I met was happy and polite. Can’t wait to return, bring some friends, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere nice to eat in Ballarat!

5 across the board!Luckily we were able to get a table on a busy Saturday night, more than happy and preferably sat at the kitchen table, it's the best place to feel the whole vibeFood was more amazing than words can sayOur server was casual, comfortable while being professional and the kitchen crew were also just as friendlyOysters 2 ways, scallops, beef carpaccio, fettuccine, gnoochi and our weight in breadSimply amazing and will be coming back to try another month's menu and hopefully dessert

Absolutely incredible. Exceptionally high quality food, service and drinks. Unparalleled in Ballarat except by the highest quality such as Mr. Jones. A Great experience overall.Edit Jan 2022: Still remains outstanding with a photographed majority new menu.

Another great night at Ragazzone.I don't think I have had a dish on the set menu that I didn't like.Different cocktails.Great Wines to choose from.It is a great night out.The 4 stars for the atmosphere is for the noise. Its a bit loud..... But I will put up with it!!!

randomly dropped by for italian food and were lucky enough to get a seat! our waitress Rose was funny, kind and gracious, and food was nothing short of amazing - the pre-main snacks were really cool and creative, the pastas were otherworldly, and the ginger ale sauce on that date pudding was amazingly deep and complex. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Food was amazing! most of the staff were amazing the head waitress was RUDE on multiple occasions even when trying to pay and leave a tip I was barreted about how busy she was and was asked if I had a calculator to work out how much we needed to pay. Will not be going back. I own 3 retail stores in Western Vic and if any of my staff acted like or spoke like that they would be asked to leave. Very Very disappointed that this over shadowed great food.

The service was lacking, and the waitress was rude. We waited over an hour and half for mains which were smaller than a child’s serving. Literally 3 small pieces of agnolotti each. We mentioned we had to leave at 8pm 2 hrs post our seating time as the mains had not come- the waitress said it’s your choice if you guys have to leave early. Our booking was till 815. Left hungry and dissatisfied- when paying we weren’t even asked how our experience was so I’m writing it here! For $250 would definitely not go back

Lovely food and great service.The portion sizes were perfect and the quality of the food and service were exceptional. We will be back.
