Pho' Mint Place - Vietnamese Restaurant

This has become our go to place for the best dang Vietnamese vermicelli salad in my experience. Super fresh, amazingly good marinated grilled pork, tasty spring rolls, and lovely salad ingredients. Oh and don't forget that dressing! Mmmmmm. And the size is very generous for a reasonable price.

Food is very good, will visit againFirst time visit not quite sure about the rules. Been sitting there with no water, cutlery, napkins, sauce, etc. Wait till the food arrive still no cutleries. Thought this must be a self serve restaurant. Went to the cupboard took a cutlery caddy turn out napkin and spoon were missing in the first caddy. Went to cupboard for second time turn out the second caddy has no spoon. Went to the cupboard third time finally get all I need.

We have travelled to several regions through Vietnam, as well as many Vietnamese restaurants in Australia and this food is not authentic Vietnamese. Didn't try the pho so can't comment on it, but the fried rice and stir fry dishes we ordered were typical Australian-Asian flavoured, nothing special. Service was ok but there are definitely far better places if authenticity is a criteria.

We had prawn and crab roll, special beef pho and beef vermicelli. Food was surprisingly delicious! The rolls were freshly fried. The soup of pho had a lot of taste and everything is just authentic. Price is fair. Highly recommended.

21/11/2022We have decided to give another shot to the Vietnamese joint in our local.This time it has improved.Getting it correct for what we have ordered and timing has improved. Consider it is on a Friday evening.Though we did a take away but we could see the table has table cloth, much better appeal.Good work and continue the good work. Definitely will go again.23/08/2022I have increased the star to 4 as the service is definitely much better than the last but the speed of getting the food prepared could definitely requires more improvement. It takes about 30mins for a take away order of 2 items.The food flavour needs a slight improvement but this place definitely worth to be given a chance. If not, we won't have any more independent small business in the neighbourhood.The ingredients are fresh and price are reasonable.The owner is nice and are definitely trying to improve.The place has a fresh coat of paint and the table arrangement is definitely has a better flow and feel more spacious.Addition cushion on the chair helps to soften the look too.Support the local, a place to be.07/06/2022 - take outNew management!Reduced review stars due to the following.Today I've ordered some takeaways.The person who took the order messed up. And I was asked at the restaurant again when I arrive. Which I confirm no 28 & 30.The order took longer to complete, which is alright considering it is a new management.When I was making my payment, the young chap got upset with for his mess up on the order. Which clearly is his fault as I confirmed the order as per the number on the menu. It can't be that difficult. His attitude definitely needs improvement.When I got home, it was incorrect.I've ordered chicken crispy egg noodles (no 28) and rice noodle seafood (Ho Phan - no 30). Super friendly service. The owner, Irene, pops out to say hello and check on her guests. You're having a home cooked meal out at a small local restaurant with meals that are great value and full of flavour. We love going local and having someone else cook for us.

Absolutely beautiful... Needed a nice big bowl of warm and cozy Pho, and that's exactly what I got! Everything was lovely and fresh. Packaged really nicely for takeaway, and a quick assembly at home. Will definitely be back again!

You won’t find a better Vietnamese restaurant in southeast QLD! The food is delicious, especially the crispy skin chicken rice, the staff are exceptionally kind, and the prices are perfect. Don’t forget to get a Vietnamese coffee to go after your meal!
