Absolutely wonderful had a really wonderful day

Arrived 1/1/20 for 2 nights there were no towels in room for showering, build up of leaves behind entrance door inside of room, salt and pepper shaker provided but empty, one carton of milk provided but suggest was out of date as wife and I were sick directly after coffee, was not replenished for second nights stay and no television..wrote email to caretaker/owner requesting towels and tv and a refund of sorts for the inconvenience, received email in response apologising for lack of towels and having trouble with tv reception and couldn’t get repair man until next week something to do with wifi nevertheless there was no actual tv in the room or sign of where one may have been..as far as a refund or partial refund for inconvenience and absence of basic facilities we received no response..poor poor management I would suggest other accomodation should be sought and use this only as a last resort and negotiate price. We spoke to other clients and they were also disappointed in the room provided to them. Such a shame as it is a modern facility but destined for failure if they don’t lift their game.Ian

Best kept secret in Strahan, newly refurbished, comfortable and clean. Walk to town in about 10min, then don't have to worry about parking, for boats and shops. Trains around the other side of the habit so unless you're a very keen walker, might drive there. Continental breakfast provided in Breakfast Room with baking and wonderful view across the harbour.

Went on a little after school graduation holiday with some friends , stayed right next to the water, service was incredibly kind and helpful and I would recommend this place to everyone, I had an amazing time.

Great location, new modern accommodation with plenty of room choices, 1 bedroom units with kitchen and bathroom, 3 bedroom family rooms or a 6 room dormitory building.A large breakfast room looking over the river (Wheel chair lift available) and free continental breakfast.BBQ Facilities, plenty of parking & friendly staff.Newly built complex just before covid19 hit, great facilities virtually unused. Restaurant and bar available for future use.

What a legend John is! We mucked up our dates at another hotel and ended up with no where to stay for 10 adults and a baby. Wild rivers escape to the rescue, John was able to wrangle a roof over our heads and a bed for everyone.Beautiful view and perfect location.

Clean and tidy and very friendly. Great location for everything in Strahan.
