Good facility, the pool doesn't have excess chlorine like the Ivanhoe one. It can be very crowded, especially with kids which no one seems to control, parents or staff. This does result in over crowded lanes at times, but if you go when there are no classes on you'll have a better time. You'll have to be patient in the gym and change up the order of your workout if you want specific machines as there are usually quite a few people. You can usually get on things pretty quickly though as people are courteous and don't seem to linger on machines. The gym is clean and kept cool, and the new group fitness area is really nice. The staff are very friendly. One star lost due to the old men in the pool area who make you feel a bit uncomfortable by staring at you, even when you tell them to stop. Not really the venue's fault though and you'd probably have the same issue at any pool.

Gym is small and over crowded. Weight equipment is old and the dumbbells are loose. There's always an issue with equipment, at least 2 pieces are out of order every week. Very costy and unreasonable prices, would much recommend an anytime fitness rather than Kew Rec

The water slide is super fun for the over 5s. Cafe closed a bit early on a Saturday but that's fine as there were maybe 20-25 people in the swimming area.

A great entertainment area in the middle of Kew. There is a Gym, not big, but not busy. The pool area it is usually dedicated to swimming classes. There is a big waterslide on the back and also will find a small store and coffee shop. Renovation will happen between 2019 and 2020.

While this facility is aging, it is still a fully fledged gym, pool and spa/sauna health club and is popular with the Asian population of Kew. I have used the spa/sauna numerous times and find the facilities clean and in good working order. The clientele and staff are courteous. Prices are high for casual visits and membership costs are average for fitness centres but the highlight is the aquatic centre when compared to other clubs.

Good facilities for families with young children. (As well as regular pool) There is a toddler pool, and a 0.6m splash pool which is ideal for young kids. Disabled/family changing facilities are good and well equipped. There is also a small playpark behind the pool which can be accessed directly from poolside on nice days!

If you just want to go to the gym, it's really expensive. If you use the classes and the swimming pool and spa, it's a good deal. I don't like the pool as it's not very deep and the adult lap pool is joined with the kids and babies' pool. I just think this is unhygienic, but I still have to pay to use everything that I don't want to use. Also, this makes the toilets ans change rooms warm, moist and stuffy and the seats are often wet due to children and swimmers. The gym has a strange layout in one room which has cardio equipment and this weird space, then there is another bigger room with some cardio equipment and weights. There is a floor/mat area in both rooms, but it feels awkward using that space in the cardio room. It's $50 a fortnight to go to the gym as a member, and $25 to use the gym for a day (a rip off for sure!) The staff don't really talk much to you and the entry gate is always broken, it's really obvious that they press a button to open it because the card scanner is faulty, but they somehow make it out like you are using the card incorrectly. The garden out the front is beautiful and fragrant in spring and has tulips, daffodils, irises and roses. The Le Mills classes are good and some instructors are amazing, but it's up to personal preference. The machines work well and there is not often too much waiting time. If something breaks it is fixed quickly- I have seen this cause issues at previous gyms, but they keep the equipment running well.

Terrible staff, rude... swimming lessons are over packed and it impacts the children who need more attention.. swim teachers let kids muck around and don't have he skills needed to keep them engaged. They make it difficult to cancel swim lessons which I am definitely doing and treat you like crap when you mention you want to and make it a difficult process. Will not be returning.

Great gym, pool, spa, sauna and water slide! Many lane's to exercise, swim group training available. At least a couple of lanes for play. Thete is a big shallow part, great for young families. The gym has all the general equipment for an amateur. But if you are a pro, there isn't much room to spread out and concentrate without bumping into somebody. It would suit a pro who just needs the basics on your cardio days, if you live nearby and need a quick workout. Convenient.Spin, pilates yoga" and other classes

Folks ...... while I understand precautionary measures you are taking however this one simply defeats science. Viruses cannot survive temperatures higher than 50 degrees C, so not sure how closing down Sauna will help.Swimming pool is 10 times more likely to spread viruses than sauna. Elders are impacted with closure of Sauna, please reconsider your decision.
