Really didn’t want to rate that low, but our experience was disappointing.We ordered 4 mains and garlic bread for starter, the main dishes (carbonara, bolognese and two risottos) took 30 mins to come. The staff apologised a couple of times, but still…it’s not like the place was exceptionally packed or anything.When the dishes came my carbonara was very small, actually half the size of the spaghetti bolognese I ordered for my daughter (adult size).Then the shrimp risotto was literally swimming in liquids, edible but not close to what a risotto should look like.We complained to the manager/owner who apologised saying there’s a new chef in the kitchen and said he will give us a ‘discount’.The bill ended being $114 and they discounted $11, which felt a bit insufficient.Not a great experience, hopefully the chef gets some proper training or some more help soon

Decided to try this Italian restaurant in the shire. Food was just above average; pizza was made in wood fire oven. Pasta could have done with more flavour. Salad servings were small (and expensive; I.e caprese salad had six pieces of buffalo mozzarella and tomato and charged over $20). Drinks were nice and adequately priced. Atmosphere was average; crammed into a spacious area and music was very loud. The black and white video projected on the wall was a great little touch and would have been more authentic matched with subtle Italian music. Service was below average; inexperienced wait staff - had to repeat orders a few times, wrong orders arrived at the table and wait staff couldn’t answer some questions about the menu. Very average experience and wouldn’t go there in a hurry.

First time here. The atmosphere was buzzing with chit chat and laughter. The smell of authentic Italian food, it was so yummy. Love the garlic smell. Everything was so yummy. To top it off the owner came around and offered us a free shot of either home made zambucca or meloni liquor. That doffently topped off the hospitality ✅

Great decor and atmosphere. The dishes we had were very good. Service was spot on. We'll be back.And we've been back at least monthly ever since. David is an excellent host and never fails to deliver.Some excellent Italian wines too boot.

If you’re after AUTHENTIC Italian pizza, then come here! I can’t believe how good pizza is here. I’m Italian and it just tasted like home. Ingredients are so natural and of amazing quality. Can’t wait to go back!! Service is excellent too. You don’t find places like this around.

Great location and extensive menu. We went with the gnocchi gorgonzola and the Quattro formaggi. The pasta was great and the sauce was amazing. The pizza seemed very thin and slightly overcooked but I still liked it. I would revisit as I want to try other dishes at the venue.

One star is being generous. I ordered some seafood ravioli, was given a 20min ETA which ended up being 40mins. I was given only 4 ravioli pieces, in which the prawns had not been cooked through. The dish also smelt and looked terrible, my cats dinner looked more appealing. Absolute joke and waste of money, better off going to Coles next door to get some packet ravioli.

The interiors at this restaurant are genuinely very aesthetic and creative. They have several specials on Mondays and Tuesdays where it is all you can eat pizza and pasta nights. We ordered a Gnochhi dish which had a really delicious sauce! The second dish was a four cheese pizza which had an excellent blend of cheeses. However, the pizza was too hard/overcooked for my liking. Probably just a personal preference though as my friend really liked the pizza.
