Absolutely diabolical. Worst company I’ve dealt with financial and service wise, ie massive rip off and non responsive. When I cancelled my service, they continued to debit my card. When we rang in the middle of the night because the alarm was beeping, they said “go online and read the manual , you’re not our customer anymore”….I had cancelled the monitoring service the week before. This would have to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. I took over a new premises and cancelled their monitoring service by the guidelines, all bills where paid up to date. Three months later we start getting phone calls that bills are outstanding and we didn't pay a call out. My office staff provided copies of receipts and termination notices (time at my expense), and they tell us we were under contract, but refuse to provide proof of contract or recognise receipts. And now debt collectors? Really? I don't need a lawyer, I have all proof, and will let you waste money on your debt collectors. Pathetic does not describe this situation.As I found out later that the local security provider I moved to do ADT call outs, I have now dumped their service, due to their association with ADT.

I chose RAA, their predecessor, due to being a locally based business. Now that ADT has taken over, I'm very unimpressed that it was going to take them 2.5 weeks to attend to replace a low main battery (which stopped us from using the alarm at all). Then I get a call from a Sydney number today, advising that the technician is a covid contact and now cannot come for a further length of time, making it a total of 1 month without a functioning alarm system. I said this was urgent, and pointed out that surely there was another technician who could attend. No. When I explained that I would search for another company, the girl didn't seem worried at all, even though I asked her to escalate this to her manager to explain they were about to lose a loyal long term customer.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Long story short - they use to monitor my home alarm but I have now cancelled my service due to the fact it took them over an hour to contact me that I had a tamper alarm going off! My house could of been emptied by a theif by the time it took them to let me know!It then took them a month to respond to my question as to why and how this could happen, their answer was contradictive and after many disuccsions I cancelled my service and I requested a refund for the month they were not monitoring my home (as I also had further issues during that month), they ignored me from then on and I have given them plenty of opportunities to reply and have also given them the benefit of the doubt by leaving it for a month before I wrote this review.They are rude, ignorant and take your money for a service they do not supply!Definately would not recommend this company to look after your home monitoring.ADT SECURITY - DISGUSTING!

Non Existant Customer Service.Terrible CompanyRarely ever had the need to write a bad review about a company but this one is really bad.Unable to help me with an alarm going off in the middle of the night. They didnt even have a manual on my system that they have been monitoring for a few years.I was owed a refund after cancelling my service with them but after numerous phone calls, messages and complaints, I still havent received this refund back from them even though they continue to confirm that I am entitled to a refund. This has been going on for a long time.The dont respond to written enquiries through their website or even using their complaint form.They obstruct any enquiries regarding the process of the refund, wont let me talk to any Manager or person in authority even though I have continuously been polite.Their Complaint phone number as advertised goes to their normal phone queue and handled by base admin staff. Thats a good indication how they view customer service.They tell lies and use delaying tactics like - “We have escalated your refund” and also - “Your enquiry has been passed on to our Managers”- which was done many times with out any response or action.I also had tried to resolve it through their complaint email address as given on their website and also here by their company representative on this site by previous other bad reviews but no response.Poor service, Incompetent, no customer service.Do not use this company. Look at other reviews on their service here and also on other review sites.

After the technicians damaged my property by not fixing the roof screws back in place after install and flooded my home , one of the two control boxes had broken down that was replaced long after and now its happened to the other box also.I want to CANCEL with them as they have not met my expectations keeping their contract alive. But yet they will not let that happen as its my fault I'm canceling apparently...Mr Peter Colla is the reginal manager Mobile number # ______________ is in my phone ready to share to all the bad reviews I now see on google.RIP OFF , SCAM, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Beware of ADT at all costs. If you’re considering going with them, don’t. We were forcibly signed up with ADT after RAA sold their security business to them. We’ve had nothing but terrible service, we’ve even had instances where there had been faults with our system leaving our house unprotected and hadn’t been contacted by ADT for days.Now, we’re in dispute over a $170 call out fee where the call out was for a warranty job! All because the technician replaced a battery whilst on site doing the warranty job who assured I’d only be charged for the battery cost.Not only this, it’s taken over a month to contact me about the invoice after I had to provide our contract clearly stating the warranty terms because at the time of sale “contracts weren’t provided from RAA to ADT”. Even the consultant based in Adelaide said the sale and follow up service of the RAA policies has been a debacle.Please, save yourself the trouble and find another security provider. ADT is not worth the trouble nor the astronomical costs they will attempt to continue to charge you. Awaiting a response before contacting the ombudsman.

Forget this company if you want good service , working products, and the terms of conditions honored . LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY DO NOT USE ADT
