It was our first day in Melbourne and we were finding it hard to choose an Indian restaurant to dine in. We came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Without any doubt, the best Indian restaurant so far in Australia.Amazing food .Very good service and hospitality.I will definitely recommend it for all the Indian food lovers.Once you eat there, you will keep on coming back to this place.And not to forget the ambiance was surprisingly peaceful.

Had an amazing dinner at Atta last week. Perfect blend of authentic indian taste with superb interior & great hospitality. Definitely going to revisit and referring friends as well.

Went to Atta for a date night. We were greeted by the lovely staff and the ambiance was very romantic.Food was excellent. Recommend sikandar raan, chicken chettinad and the bread basket (fluffy soft naan gets bonus points.Overall an enjoyable experience.Well done, team Atta!!

The service was exceptional, the plating of the entrees was a feast for the eye but the dishes was a hit and miss. The prawn fritter we ordered didn’t really have any hints of prawn if there was any it was very subtle. The pudina murgh which was a chicken dish was tasty and the chicken was tender. And that’s where it all ended the mains we ordered were just blah for a fine dining restaurant I expected more in terms of flavours and complexity. The worst dish was the lamb biryani, lamb was dry and really tough. Same with the barramundi, I believe the fish was battered and then fried it was way over cooked making the dish not pleasant to eat. For a place that prides itself on pleasing the palate, the food left much to be desired.

This place was great! The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was amazing. We loved everything we ate and the serving sizes were generous.I was impressed with it all and we had a great night out.

My wife and I dined here last night and the food was beautiful. The dishes are nicely presented, the flavours mouthwatering and perfectly cooked. I think the restaurant elevates Indian cooking and really showcases the amazing flavours. The service was really good, attentive and friendly.

A group of 8 of us had a lovely meal- great set menu (had to be a set menu with a group over 6 I believe). Nice cocktails. Good service. Beautiful classy interior with lovely flowers. Food was great and they varied the spice levels to our desires.

Atta. What can I say?I've been a fan of Indian food since I was a young bloke, but I've never eaten a meal like this one.The names of the dishes will be familiar to most Melbournians, but the ingredients list reflects the fact that this isn't your suburban Indian takeaway - it's fine dining.We spent about two and a half hours here, with probably the best food I've ever had. The service is exceptional - we were able to talk to the staff about what dishes go together, what to drink with them, and what sides work best. Nothing was too much trouble.For a romantic dinner on a special occasion, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather go.
