Great beach i used to live in port macquarie and its a great beach to visit although i wouldent recommend swimming here its a bit dangerous no lifeguards at all, and usually you may spot bush turkeys and goannas they come running out of tbe bush especially when they smell the bbqs that people have on

It's always busy and hard to find a parking spot down there especially during peak season. But when you do its so worth it, beautiful coastal walking track that wraps around the ocean, great spot for photography.

Great spot to bring the kids for a picnic or a BBQ it is a good place for a swim as it has a protected bay so the waves don't get very big it can get a bit rocky at times when the sand gets washed away with storms but the rocks are mostly smooth a bit further out in centre it is sand all the time

Great spot for a snorkelling, though you need to check the currents and tides beforehand as it gets a bit milky and surgy in an outgoing tide.Nice rock formations, low depth with blue rays, catfish, puffer fish, octopus and eels around. Quite a bit of life, nice coral too.It’s dog friendly though only on the grass and further north part of the beach - south is where you want to be snorkelling.There is also 2 resident giant Guanas which are awesome!

Gorgeous beach suitable for all ages. Parking, coffee van on the weekend and part of the Port to lighthouse costal walk. No lifeguards but Rockpool area safe swimming area.

Awesome spot. Lagoon is great for kids. Take care on the open beach, no lifeguards and often rips and sweep.

Shelley Beach is my favourite beach. Very busy at peak holidays, so car parking is limited. Off-peak anytime is a cruise.Great disability access, clean amenities and ideal for a picnic swim or walking with ramp access to the adjoining beaches as pictured.

Super cute beach. Lovely entrance to it through a rainforest. Some nice sculptures and memorial pieces there, as well as a wishing tree. Nice long beach to walk along as well.

Came here and the place was fairly packed. There was bbqs. Picnic tables. And most special park is its Shelly's beach. Lots of people and cars here. Not the quietest place to come in the area.
