Lydia, you’re amazing! Owner of a 6 year old groodle who was getting way to hyper outside especially around other dogs.After the first session, I started to see huge improvements! Then by the second session with Lydia, everything I taught my dog the first two weeks came into play outside of the home. We still have a lot to do but so far it’s been amazing! I’m already seeing a massive (positive) difference in my dog & more confidence in myself!Thank you so much Lydia!! You work wonders :)

Learning from Lydia was amazing. Within 7 days we started to see significant improvement with our very stubborn puppy. Starting with how to properly communicate with our dog and establishing proper consequences indoors to walking loose leash and consequences and control in the outside world. We really feel like we have the right tools to continue establishing good behaviours in our puppy. I highly recommend dog manners as Lydia teaches you how to address good and bad behaviour but also goes out with you into real life situations so she can show you how to stay calm and gain control quickly.

Highly recommend one on one sessions with Lydia if you have an anxious or reactive dog. Our two and a half year old Border Collie has responded so well to Lydia’s training methods and we have had such a positive experience since the first session. We still have lots of work to do but now have the tools and knowledge to keep going. We also feel so much more relaxed heading out on walks having a much better understanding of our dog and how to manage challenging situations!

We have a reactive German Shepherd dog and have tried many different trainers and Lydia is the dog whisperer or parent trainer. She has helped us understand him and uses the Alpha technique which is a systematic, simple, non treats based approach which is very effective. I would highly recommend her not only for dogs that are reactive but all dog training.

Lydia was amazing and came to our house for a puppy session. It was great to learn of another technique than treat base which has often failed for us with past dogs. Can already see a difference in puppy’s unwanted behaviours.

We have a new rescue dog, an energetic, manic border collie/kelpie cross, who at 6 months old is now onto his fourth lot of owners.Lydia's understanding of owners and their dogs makes her a fabulous trainer and we now have a well mannered and lovely dog and he has a forever home. We can't thank Lydia enough for her amazing communication, patience and incredible ability to set boundaries yet reward the dog (without treats) but with lots of praise .She taught us how to gain the dog's respect and responsiveness through her 4 tone dog talk" method. Lydia at Dog Manners was honestly fantastic. She has taught us a completely new way to communicate with our dog that actually works and has given us an arsenal of tools to use in all kinds of training and real-life situations.
