Now, there is a lot of hate for my mate.But ill tell you this, honest true blue bloke.Yes rough around the edges, but always happy to tell you how it is when it comea to fishing, this is a breath od fresh air, ans saves you money becaiuse the advice works.I grew up in pottsville, and as a kid i over looked what some holiday goers do, like smole near food areas, or outside shops.Our local bait shop vendor aticks to the rules so your kids and yourself sont have to breath in the smoke, he may be rough, but he knows what right and will tell you the truth.Good bloke !!

Went in to get some aqua shoes, we went to take them out of bag to look at them for sizing etc.. the guy working there took them out of my hands and told me not to open them and expected that i would just look at them in bag!! I needed to look at them out of bag as sizing different with them!.. he was very pushy, it was like he didnt want us in his shop and definitely didnt wanna sell us anything?! Well he achieved that, we will never go back there to buy anything!!. he lost sales yesterday cause we were going to definitely buy them.. bad luck for you buddy!!

I wanted to go to the other bait shop around the corner based on the reviews but unfortunately he was closed unexpectedly for a couple of days. Therefore Pottsville Bait & Tackle was the only option left. The other reviews are spot on … the old guy who served me was surly, unhelpful, and extremely demeaning of both his competition and his customers. No way will I go back to this place!!
