Goldsteins Bakery

Only 3 stars because of the service. I ordered a pie 2 cappuccinos and a toasted sandwich. The pie was put in front of me to take to the table. I was halfway through that when the cappuccinos arrived finally my partners sandwich appeared and no serviettes. Is it too much to expect the whole order to arrive together?

I have grown up with the novelty of visiting Goldstein’s when passing through the area. Always had pigs & frogs as a child & was able to order pigs to share with my kids. Thank you Goldstein’s I still love them and so do the kids! FYI the kids say best pie too!

Terrible experience for something as simple as a coffeePeople that arrived after my sister were served first, when she was served they got her order wrong even though she specified a regular latte with soy milk (I was standing near her and heard it just fine)They had to remake it because they tried to give her a full cream latte which would make her sick, but didn't make it right away and we had to wait even longer.They charged her for the soy milk, and then they burnt it. It was undrinkable.She's worked as a barista for years so she's very unhappy that the order wasn't repeated back (especially when they said they couldn't hear her properly) and that they didn't know how to use soy milk at all.Bad service and bad coffee.

Everything I hate about some cafes - though it isn't really a cafe at all I guess. Disposable cups, plates and spoons - yuk! Cold, weak coffee. Tasteless rock cake and my husband screwed his nose up at his danish. First visit - and last.

Staff are friendly and they have such a lovely range.
