I have never left a negative Google review in my life but the appalling circumstance I experienced with Chelsea needs to be noted to save any future brides from the stress I endured.From the moment I locked Chelsea in for my wedding (year in advance), I had a bad gut feeling. Her response rate took sometimes weeks, and that was after I had to contact her via Instagram, then email, then phone call. Alas, I continued forward thinking perhaps I was being silly and overthinking things.I contacted Chelsea in August, September, November and March to confirm different aspects of the wedding makeup and reconfirm the date. Lastly in June I asked to catch up for a coffee or pop into her studio to say hi as I new booking a trial was going to be tricky with my schedule and we hadn’t met yet.Then exactly 7 days before my wedding I wake up to a message at 8am on a Sunday to then be told that Chelsea could not longer do makeup at my wedding. Many excuses latter, much gaslighting but no acceptance of her behaviour I then agreed to a refund and began my hunt for another MUA. I was so lucky to find someone, and my god, she was amazing!!!Chelsea - I am leaving this review not to slander you but for you to learn. Please accept this feedback and realise that your behaviour affects people, often at the most stressful times of their lives - planning a wedding. If you are not going to take your craft seriously, please engage in a different profession.
