Jo Booth. Event Celebrant.

Jo is an incredible celebrant. We have absolutely no regrets. I stumbled upon her Instagram page and had to know if she was available just from seeing her outgoing, quirky self and she was! A match made in heaven. Jo ended up feeling like a friend and we really enjoyed having her be there on our special day. I would recommend her for big or small weddings and if we needed an MC, I can assure you it would have been her.

Jo is heartfelt, funny and made our day so special. She helped us navigate the 1,000's of ceremony options and produce a ceremony that had us both laughing and crying, and was everything we ever imagined. We were hesitant to hire an MC instead of using a friend, and trusting Jo to complete this task was one of the best decisions we made. The whole reception ran smoothly, we didn't need to focus on the time, and Jo is a comedian when behind the microphone. We had so many people tell us after the wedding how much they loved Jo!

Jo was amazing as our celebrant - we couldn’t have had a better person to officiate our marriage. We clicked from the first moment we met, she took the time to understand us and worked with us to create the perfect ceremony together.She was there to guide us when we needed it, took care of all the small details and made our day even more special than we could have thought it could be. Every guest we spoke to after raved about her.. ‘your celebrant was wonderful!!’. Couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you Jo!!!

Jo is the best celebrant! All our guests commented how lovely and funny and warm she was which represented us as a couple perfectly! She told our story the way we wanted and was very accomodating and understanding with whatever request we had. She made writing vows less scary and made the whole process very simple and straightforward. She was so fun and joyful to work with and it made us feel comfortable every step of the way - including on the day :) You should hire Jo, she’s the best!!

Jo was honestly the most incredible celebrant we could've hoped for.Right from the get go, Jo was beautifully engaging and attuned to our relationship. When it came time for the ceremony - oh my, did she go above and beyond. The ceremony was written and delivered with such warmth, humour, passion and personalisation - I didn't know that such a delivery was possible with so many laughs and tears. So many of our guests commented on what an exceptional ceremony it was, but more importantly, it truly honoured our commitment to each other, amplified our vows, and nailed our vibe (and the vibe of our guests).As a couple, we didn't have a clear idea of how the night would go or what we wanted. Thankfully, Jo guided us with confidence, encouragement and creativity in both in the planning phase and the execution. She was attentive to our story, our quirks and our people. Jo is funny, calming and considerate. She made us feel relaxed the entire lead up to the day, before the ceremony and during. We also had the pleasure of having her into the night as our MC. We can’t fault one thing about Jo. Her passion for celebrating love shines through in the entire day. She creates a unique ceremony that is memorable, full of laughs and so warm! The whole process was seamless thanks to Jo, we love her!!

Jo delivered the most beautiful, authentic, wholesome and funny ceremony we could have ever asked for. Not only did she capture the very essence of our relationship and told our story beautifully, she also made the audience feel a part of the ceremony instead of just being witness to it. Jo created a perfect ceremony and reception for us as our celebrant and MC. She is fantastic to work with and seems to be very experienced and professional. Nothing was too much to ask for and she was very easy to contact leading up to the wedding to ask questions/ make changes. Our ceremony felt so customised to us as a couple without feeling like a script I had heard before. Jo has a positive attitude, larger than life energy and will make you and your guests laugh out loud. We warmed to her instantly and so did our guests. We had loads of compliments from guests of all ages about our choice of celebrant/MC. I would 100% recommend Jo for your wedding.

Jo was fantastic! She struck the perfect balance between humour / heartfelt and her ceremony really set the tone for the rest of our wedding. So many of our guests raved about how great our celebrant was!We were really impressed with how organised Jo was from the get-go. She gave us some super helpful tips for our vows and sorted out the legal documentation so quickly - we really didn’t have to worry about a thing.Jo was professional, responsive and an all round genuine, lovely person to deal with.
