Very quiet . But the lady in the green shop is a trouble maker. Likes to gossip to travellers. I'm not into that. So I go to the blue shop. Food is good staff is friendly. Oh even though it is free to stay. There is a lovely lady who collects money for a charity. So if you have a couple of dollars to spare it would be nice to donate. Sign on pole in park if interested.

Traditional Devonshire tea sold here with some of the friendliest and kindest people I've ever met. Also serves as a gallery / showroom for the talented local artists. A must stop when cycling the rail trail or passing through town.

Enjoyed a Devonshire tea with Carol today. Scones and muffins were delicious and staff were very friendly. Worth a visit for the food and the art and craft on display.

I have never met such a rude and abusive bunch of women in my life than the women who run the market and op shop. The op shop has a fill a bag for $5. The locals don’t like it when you fill the bag, they follow you out to your car as a mob shouting that you should be ashamed of yourselves for stealing. We were called despicable and liars and told never to come back. Jeez if they don’t want you filling a bag why offer it. Confused! Would not recommend that you visit this place, some of the locals have massive anger issues and you will not be made to feel welcome.

Tea (and scones) for the wheelmen. Great way to finish off a morning on the BVRT, with a Devonshire brunch, perusal of local crafts and a lovely chat with the nice people manning the urn!
