The JADA Exhibition was wonderful. The gallery is well located and worth a visit. Disappointed that the cafe is now closed as the garden courtyard is very pleasant.

Great use of a smallish space to display interesting exhibitions. Loved the purple craft table for the Jacaranda Festival. Delighted to encounter a story reading by a local author about the local area.

Well facilitated in a thoughtfully renovated building, this gallery is an asset to Grafton and the surrounding communities.Exhibitons are intimately curated in light filled airy spaces at the back of the venue.Workshops, artists talks and openings are held here as well as options to lease the spaces for private events.A large paved leafy courtyard connects the gallery, various spaces, cafe, gift shop and accommodation for those wanting to stay overnight. An all access gallery with ramps and lifts and plenty of space that allows all humans, of all abilities, to enjoy the constantly evolving gallery offerings.

Small gallery but very interesting and intriguing, just leave a donation at the entrance. Parking isn't possible with a trailer. You can leave the car and trailer at the Coles parking and walk 5 mins to the gallery.

The North Coast’s largest collection of art is housed at Grafton’s regional gallery, which shows off its inventory with a busy schedule of 40+ exhibitions each year. You can also catch shows by local and national artists, and major touring exhibitions. As you’d hope for Grafton, the gallery has a historic and handsome location, in Prentice House, which was built in 1880, serving as a home but also a surgery and converted into a gallery in 1986. This institution is renowned in the art world for the biennial Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award, promoting contemporary Australian drawing and valued at more than $30,000.

An amazing extension has taken this regional gallery from country building to state of the art (literally) exhibition space. It's warm heritage up front, cool contemporary at the back. Do a walk through. You won't be disappointed.

Visited last month. Great venue - beautiful courtyards and we loved the shop and cafe/bistro for lunch. Will be back for a dinner with family and friends. Staff are lovely! Loved the huge, blowup sculpture in the foyer but really didn't enjoy the rest of the exhibition - controversial, abrasive, exclusive HOWEVER we don't think it was created to be enjoyed. Cannot wait to return for another exhibition!
