Great vibes, flavour flavour flavour. Had the corn, taco and squid pancake. All loaded with flavours. Great with rice. Was secretly hoping the centre of the corn hides something special lol. Now I know is just corn. The unpainted ceiling was a tiny bit distracting but the overall feel was really good. Great service. Seats that are facing out will have the full view of the ring garden but not those facing the bottles wall. Perhaps try turning those tables side way so both sides can enjoy the outside view. If lunch is quiet maybe try a lunch bento box with a bit of everything for 20$.

I really like all the food here. Especially the beef tartare and corn skewers. The cocktails are also amazing and staff and service was friendly and fast.Came here twice and it has always been good. It’s great to dine for dinner not lunch. It is the same menu across the day.Never got a table if we decide to walk so it’s great that they are setting outdoor seats now (in winter) hopefully there’s some availability for walk in.They should definitely do takeaways lunch because so many offices around here, they would make heaps of money.

I had been anticipating the opening of Nonda for months as I live in the area and saw the signage months before the doors opened. As a big fan of Yoko Dining at HSW, I was very excited when I saw the similarities in the menu. The highlights of the night for me were their perfectly crispy karaage chicken with kimchi marinade and the Mooloolaba king prawns with shiso butter. Unfortunately, the gyoza weren’t as crispy and cooked as I usually like and the steak was a bit too oily in the brown butter. Also, while the sashimi looked fresh and appetising, it was sliced fairly thick and lacked flavour. Service was great though and the drinks menu was extensive.

Great ambience and staff were attentive. The wagyu with the delicious teriyaki brown butter was tender and melted in your mouth. Paired with the rice it was the perfect mouthful. The prawns and karaage chicken were also delicious! However, the sashimi was cut a bit too thick for my liking.

Great service and food pairs beautifully with sake . Was not busy when we had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food was served timely and all hot food are Korean fusion - this is comment made by my Korean husband when we were confused if it is Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Had soft shell crab , sweet and sour pork, dumplings and clam croquette . The family enjoy the soft shell crab and pork with rice. Rice is cooked well and good quality if it is important to you like it is to me

Great range of dishes in a convenient location, with modern decor and a relaxed restaurant environment. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience. We started off with some sake from their well selected sake list. The sashimi tacos were yummy, with a nice balance of creaminess, zing, spice and crunch - this was the standout dish. The clam croquettes had an excellent crispy texture, but a little lacking in flavour. We really enjoyed the mushroom tantanmen - really tasty, but would have been even better if heated up a little more. We tried the barramundi main which had a nice flavour combination and was well cooked. The butter lettuce salad was a fresh accompaniment. Dessert of the matcha tiramisu was nice, but on the creamy side and quite simple. A nice place for a meal - worth a try.

The vibe of Nonda was so relaxing! The service was exceptional and the staff were all lovely. The space is also unique and I love the layout of it. The NI banquet menu was delicious and very filling! My favourite was the charred corn with teriyaki mayo and salted ricotta! The sober sensi mocktail was also surprisingly amazing. I definitely will be back to try more items!

All dishes were aesthetically pleasing. Customer service was excellent. My personal favourites are the softshell crabs, beef tartare and the matcha tiramisu. Cocktails were delicious as well.
