I absolutely love this store! The displays are gorgeous, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and you can just tell they are passionate about cooking, ingredients and helping customers!

The store is beautiful, the staff are helpful, the products are pricey.That said: make sure your gift vouchers don't expire! My husband gave me a $200 gift voucher to Essential Ingredient which was misplaced during the difficult times that followed my mother's cancer diagnosis. I found it again while preparing for the birth of our first child but it had expired. I contacted Essential Ingredient to see if there was anything they could do to help me, $200 being a lot of money, but they flatly made it clear there was nothing they would do. (I also had a $50 voucher from another company with it and that company was happy to reissue me a new voucher). I know legally they are within their rights to refuse but it's hard knowing they got $200 out of my family for nothing.

Wonderful place to indulge culinary fantasies- like imagining you can really cook. Beautiful and unusual ingredients allow an adventure into cooking food from varied countries. The service was unobtrusive yet helpful and very pleasant. Highly recommended

Orange is a bit of a foodie destination - this place is of such quality that it serves almost as the flagship for all Orange foodie destinations. I particularly love the range of tea and Herbie's Spices. Try the Herbie's cinnamon - amongst the best you'll ever find. Good parking at rear with arcade entrance.

Aberrant behaviour towards customers is never acceptable. I wouldn’t have given any stars at all only the review option won’t allow you to leave a review without marking one star for which they clearly do NOT deserve.
