The best part of this particular Big W is their party shop. It’s a fun party resource to have and there are plenty of options available. See photos.This Big W store has a large footprint and it’s easy to just get lost in the vastness of it all. It doesn’t feel like it holds more stock, it just feels more spread out.Staff are usually quite helpful but they can be hard to find if they are not part of the checkout, customer service or technology service counters. The phone assistance is always great.I think one of Big W’s general challenges is that they lack a point of difference that makes them unique or specifically worth travelling to. Sure we go buy ‘stuff’ there but there is not much that we buy there that is not available elsewhere. The prices seem to be lowering which is great but it’s still a brand that has very little sparkle. If they were generally 20% cheaper than anywhere else we would definitely shop there more. Wouldn’t you?That being said - their shop hours are super handy and that is much appreciated!Note the party shop has more independent hours from the store and closes earlier.

Really poor customer service experience with Leanne from the Service desk.I had a query regarding an online order which she abruptly responded to with ‘I can’t help you with that’, then when I enquired about how long the order backlog was she was equally unhelpful. We were the first customer of the day, good luck to her last.

Located at the North end of Chermside Westfield and on the East side. Close to Spec Savers and the taverns. Great range of electronics and everything else. Not enough staff on a weekend. This store gets busy.

I didn’t realise just how big this store is, clean tidy and staff were very helpful and approachable.Keep it up, it goes a long way

5 stars for our in store experience today because of the young tall male working in the toy section on Saturday the 17th (I think his name badge said Luke?)We we’re searching for the mini Squishmallows and was unable to find them. Not only did he offer to go look out the back as there was none on the shelf, he returned to let us know that he had located them in a crate somewhere and needed an extra 10mins to get them which was extremely considerate of him. He came back with the items and gave us room to browse. Not only that, he came back to see how we were going as well.Great, friendly customer service and went above and beyond to find what we were looking for. Such a rarity, especially around Christmas time. He’s a great asset to the team!

Just like any other Big W! Easy to access and no big queues at the tills

I was looking for some clothes for my daughter, i think Big W Grand City Mall has more choices than Big W Chermside SC Westfield

Ordered balloons for a family party - fantastic service by the party section of the store

Good customer service as always, however my only gripe (and its a small one) is that the stock levels of products are not updated as regularly as it should be, my sole purpose for braving the xmas period shopping was for an item still displayed as in stock" when in fact it was sold out long before we arrived.. otherwise good all round
