I’ve gone many times to the eating house, quite a large selection of food and drinks and lovely setting. I usually sit outside as it has a large outdoor seating area too.Glad to see a vegan menu however lacking flavour and variety considering how many other options they have. Service was also quite slow considering they weren’t tooo busy but the food and chai was good. Great to see vegan ice cream as an option always.

Made a reservation yesterday for tonight - came in and no-one could find our booking. We were supposed to be seated in a private room but there was another group in there so they finally offered us a table behind the cash registers. Fine.Food choices are plenty with big portions, hence we booked at this restaurant, however some meals were underwhelming. The dressing on the salads was inedible, there was a hair on the pizza and to top it off, a coke that I ordered for my son had alcohol in it!! Hadn't I have tasted it beforehand, I cant even imagine what may have happened to my 6 year old son.As avid diners, we won't be back.

If you live anywhere near Rowville you need to get to Eating House. It exceeded my expectations for a suburban restaurant in all ways. The food was exceptional- we started with pizzas and then followed with meat platters for mains. Servings are large but amazing quality. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Service was reasonably good, pleasant and helpful, but pushy for extras or more items. I had the big breakfast board, that actually came on a plate, not a board. The food was very good, all items tasty, some items a bit cool, obviously cooked early than other items. Hot chocolate was nice. Rude customer came in behind me, pushed past me and took the table next to the fire that l had requested, see in last photo. I didn't say or do anything as l would have lost my s#@t, l really wanted to catch up with a mate l hadn't seen for years. Probably will come back.

Everyone was super friendly. I think my meal was meant to come with French Fries but mine didn't come with it (sad face). I didn't complain though because they were quite flat out, probably didn't need the fries anyway. The food was a bit overpriced for what it is.

Eating House have outsourced their delivery services to a ghost kitchen and it shows. A week ago I noticed their website sends delivery orders directly to Uber Eats. Photos are the same but pizzas are diffrently named, with different ingredients, and mains are changed too. No pizza special deal anymore, so pizzas are now $25 upwards range. I rang them and Eating House confirmed 'they' make pizzas for eat in and take away only. So suspecting a ghost kitchen, we ordered pizza tonight to try, and our suspicions were confirmed. Pizzas look nothing like in-house ones. Now have extremely thick side crust but paper-thin bases, making it very difficult to pick up without the toppings sliding off. Large pizzas are smaller, being only six slices rather than eight. Sparse ingredients, even when we paid extra per pizza. So we are now getting less pizza, less choice, for considerable more cost and not even from the shop. Goodbye Eating House, it was nice while it lasted. Not recommended at all.

Wow, what an amazing menu! There’s something for everyone- including a vegan menu.Amazing cakes.Amazing to hear the staff were getting paid triple time on Easter Saturday, happy to pay the 15% surcharge for their time ❤️

Decided to celebrate our Anniversary so we went for dinner and it was a great experience.The waitress we have was really goodThe place was buzzing the food was great and I definitely will be returning again

Amazing service, the lady that served us was really helpful and attentive. Food also came very fast.Food itself wasn't anything spectacular but it was quite filling and something I would definitely eat again. Some of the newer reviews complained about the pizzas but we found them quite nice ,though we never tried the old ones.The environment was decent though there definitely could have been better lighting in the outdoor areas as we were using our flashlights to read the menu (please make the menu text larger!).Overall, quite a nice place and the service by the lady definitely made it a 5/5 instead of 4/5

First time coming here. Was really impressed with the seating, ambience, service and food. Overall tasty and definitely will be back.The sliders were delicious, packed with flavour and highly recommended.
