UNSW Bookshop
This is an excellent Bookshop, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their range is somewhat limited, based on university curricula. Not as cheap as some of the big online chains but it is immediate and quick. I try to get in for a look weekly.

Despite having a limited selection due to the size of the store, you can find many titles here that can't be found elsewhere. In more detail, the politics and philosophy sections have a really interesting range, as does the science section, and both include titles it's unlikely you'd find in a Dymocks. The staff are also very helpful and will give you advice even on the scify/fantasy section (keeping in mind that this is a university bookshop and so you'd imagine product knowledge is streamlined in favour of textbooks and related material).

Really lovely staff. Not just for UNSW students and staff either! I had always (incorrectly) assumed you needed to be a student or staff member to get the discount, but I don’t believe that’s the case!It’s an awesome bookstore. Perhaps pricier than buying elsewhere, but they often have some great 50% off sales, set up on tables out the front of the store. It’s located right near the UNSW Dental Clinic.They have a great range of gifts, including beautifully illustrated cards, bags, pins, all sorts of stuff! You’ll definitely find something in here if you need a gift, or are wanting to browse books of a particular genre or topic.

The Bookshop looks great since it got its makeover. Found it a little difficult to find what I needed, but I enjoyed the stroll around the Bookshop causing me to take pause of all the little knick knacks on offer. And how great is it to have a coffee shop right next door. Great little spot also.

For all intensive purposes, this bookshop is moderately priced for all texts that you may need as a student. There are other places you can go but, the bookshop is on campus. For day-to-day shoppers, there are a range odd & quirky items that make for fantastic gifts (the last time I was in I found 1000 point dot-to-dots). One thing to know about the regular staff is that they stock the shop with pride (and of course your the university essentials).

Really helpful staff, very friendly and approachable. I ordered what I needed online and they sent me an email and txt message to notify my textbook was instore so I had a hastle free pick up with a simple ID check. Great range of things, be sure to check website to ensure availability. Decent prices as well so overall I recommend.

Really great if you're a student at UNSW. Textbook prices are really good, and they provide lists of recommended textbooks for all courses, which is super handy. Staff are always really friendly, and they've got cool merch and stuff too.
