I slept here with my 2 sons and wife my first room smelt like sigarets which was room 16 and we moved to a nearby room with smelt of cleaning products my youngest started crying because there were 2 large men siting out the front of our room smoking we told them kindly to move but they just ignored us my family put a ironing board on the door which helped on the bright side it was a good price for 2 nights and close to shops! But there is blood on the sheets!

Basic motel - adequate for an overnight stay if you need to stay in the area. Not a holiday destination. Lovely staff. Shops just down the road.Smell: I read reviews before coming about strange or bad smells in some rooms. When I came in all I could smell was bleach from the cleaners which went away when I opened the windows etc, which is fine. Then every now and then a got a whiff of something NOT nice. I couldn’t work out what it was! Well now I know - it’s actually from the Abattoir/ meat processing plant a few ks away. It just depends on how the wind blows when and if you smell it. I also smelt it today when I was walking past it and for a long while in the area around it (I didn’t know it was an abattoir there) then found out later from someone who used to work near here that the smell is an ongoing issue.

We travel often, and this place is hands down the worst place we have ever been in .Do yourself a favour, do NOT stay in this, unhygienic, poor value for money, family run business.I witnessed a housekeeper 'cleaning' the surfaces of the room, bedside table etc. washing, drying the dishes, wiping out a fridge, with a used guest towel.Read that again.They don't change/wash the well used & clearly soiled mink blanket, that belongs in the bin, not anywhere near a bed.We complained that the blanket was dirty, to be told, rudely, that it is not a part of their routine - to wash the blankets. We were just fussy guests"$280 a night

Stayed here for 3 nights, it was very noisy from in room 17, all hours thumping, slamming doors and people swearing and yelling at 2am and also 7am, I would say it's one of the worst places I've stayed, the staff were lovely and the room was adequate bar a window that didnt shut properly but yeah I didn't get much sleep because of the outside disturbance also the last day and night I was there the wifi wasnt working, not the motels fault but yeah very inconvenient, not the greatest for a woman and child to stay, one plus was that there was plenty of food options nearby

I booked a 2 night stay at this place with my 2 young children & wow! Was I mortified! The security of the place! Scary! There was just one flimsy door knob, no extra locks. The hall was dark with very minimal lighting. My 2nd night I had someone trying to break into my room just after I heard a woman screaming and yelling. If I didn’t have the door barricaded with a chair and ironing board they would have walked straight in and then out of no where the police were knocking on my door asking to look in my bathroom for someone? What the hell! At this point, I am absolutely freaking out! It really is NOT SAFE especially if you have CHILDREN! I spoke to the front desk on leaving about it and they had no concerns and showed no compassion their reply was “oh yeah, we had police here” ??? Seriously! The cleanliness of the room wasn’t up to standards. They need to to get new cleaners in to do a deep clean. Surface cleans can only last a little awhile.

For a hotel in logan, it was quite enjoyable. decent parking and amenities. would’ve enjoyed more toiletries and thicker blankets. there was a few cleaning issues we found including spots on the sheets and towels on arrival with a blood stain on the wall.A softer bed would’ve been great
