Dr. Luma you should be ashamed of yourself for turning down my partner when in need of medical help due to her being medically exempt from the Covid-19 vaccine when she saw another doctor(your husband) a day before. You took a oath to help people. I’m disgusted, truly.

It's a great place if you need to go somewhere with no appt. But the one thing I find annoying is that it's says they are open online but when you get there you find out they are actually closed! Just update your hrs or days you are closed.

Would not allow my pregnant wife to bring in my 14 month injured daughter into clinic to see a doctor, simply because my wife is unvaccinated (due to a medical exemption).Their excuse was its against our policy to allow unvaccinated.Makes me sick what has happen to human decency, allowing my daughter to be in pain and not giving her a referral for an X-ray . Now I have to got to Melbourne emergency.Thank you Fawkner Medical you really care about the health of others, especially children!

Today I had an appointment with the doctor Loma . There were three patients before my turn. I waited for one and a half hour. When I met her she barely spent 5 minutes listening to me and told me she is very busy although every patient before me took 30 minutes each. It was not a good experience. I won't recommend her to anyone.

This practice is an absolute joke and I question how an unprofessional ill mannered disrespectful individual like Luma obtained her medical license in a country as advanced as ours. She lies, she belittles, she patronises and has her own set of fabricated silly rules and regulations that she administers in a dictatorial manner. As soon as we arrived she began to speak down to us with utmost contempt, ordered us around, made up some non exisiting COVID separation rules and even went as far as to order me to stand in the far corner (other then trying to be on a power and control trip I cannot comprehend why this so called professional felt the need to order a fully grown woman with grown up kids to stand up in the far corner). Perhaps she has forgotten which country she is in. I question how someone as cold and calculating as herself is allowed to practice in an industry that requires compassion, professionalism, and above all looking out for the well being and best interest of their patients. Save yourselves the time and don’t even bother with this place.

Edit: OMG the paid positive reviews for the business are hilarious!Literally the least capable general medical care centre I have ever visited. Only interested in billing medicare for as many people as possible. Reception staff are arrogant, unhelpful, unapologetic for their mistakes despite the fact they're visibly incompetent.

Dr Ali Mohtaji is a good and compassionate doctor who works under obvious pressure in this busy practice.

Dr Luma has absolutely disappointed me. She doesn't practice ethically or with compassion. She refuses to listen to more than one problem which makes me question her as a doctor. Doctors are meant to provide a duty of care not indirectly ask for more money by asking you to come back and forth. Some people work full-time or have kids and struggle to find the time to go once let alone every day of the week. Honestly, do you listen to the patient or do you only care about yourself and your pocket? Her responses are always like 'Medicare doesn't allow this', but somehow other doctors don't have that issue with Medicare. For example, they have no worries to provide a full blood examination including vitamin D and iron, but she can only do FBE and she'd say I don't do more than one thing?! How is that normal? This is how things go unmissed, this is how people end up in hospitals. Safe to say, I will never step foot at that clinic ever again. I treated this doctor with utmost respect and she failed me. I'm disgusted.

The first thing that strikes you on entering this busy practice is the more or less invisibility of the desk staff who exist below desk level and high perspex screens in what resembles a fortified bunker. COVID hangover? Or more sinister security issue? It is very hard to communicate with them due to their placement in the bunker and also strongly apparent lack of people skills or any clinical training (young and old staff alike). I realize that this is a difficult job dealing with the public in all its random manifestations, but could we simply physically SEE the staff we are talking to when we come through the door at this busy practice? If there is an ongoing security issue the screens as they alreadyxist should help.
